If they do win it Poch will be off to the scum.

I assume you meant to include a huge smiley but on the off chance you weren't, do you really think he would leave an excellent side with a new stadium who are the champions of Europe for a team is disarray who are owned by milionaires who don't give a tuppenny f*ck about the club and have Eddie and possibly Rio making the decisions ?

I've flights to Madrid from Manchester via Palma departing Thursday 30/5 and direct from Madrid to Manchester on Tuesday 4/6. Any lurking spurs fans interested PM me please.

If you get any PM's do the decent thing (perhaps a small mark up) and then post on RAWK that you have just flogged them for face value :-) The hate will flow right down the Merzeee

I went to the first fa cup final in 81 but couldn’t make it to the replay (I was working overseas). A mate and I drove over from Germany and tried to park in a pub car park on the outskirts. The landlord came out to remonstrate but after finding out we had driven overnight he was fine and offered to look after the car. He was a Spurs fan but his head barman was a blue and traveled to Wembley with us. After the match, I got split up from the other two and got the tube back to where we had left the car. Must have been a thousand Spuds fans on that train plus me in full City regalia. They were great fun and a fair bit of p&ss taking ensued. Always had a soft spot for them despite the disappointment of the replay defeat. To be fair, I was pretty used to City disappointment in those days as we all were :)

I don't really see how it matters that they lost a few games getting to the final. Everyone knows the rules and the whole idea of the competition is that it's not sudden death matches until the final. It's designed that way. Getting through is all that matters.

And incidentally, I can only conclude that @JimB and the others are all still blind drunk celebrating.

I wish Spurs all the best and hope that they win the trophy. Last night was a performance of guts and determination and, in the second half especially, no little class. I say this not meaning to be petty or to criticise Spurs in any way, but they may well feel that their name is on that cup - 7 minutes from elimination in their final match of the league stage (after losing their first 3 matches), Aguero missing a penalty, a controversial third goal at the Etihad followed by the most marginal of offside goals from Sterling in stoppage time to put them through on away goals and then the most remarkable of second half come backs last night. In among the grit and determination the gods of football are clearly smiling on Spurs and it's fortune like that that wins trophies. I see Spurs winning on penalties after recovering from 2 down in the last 10 minutes! Best of luck anyway.

Nope, 37 but being an Everton fan didnt realise the history between City and Spurs.

I Was born in 1982

Just looked and can see he scored the winning goal in the cup final in 1981. Did something else happen??

They are the true cockney rags. Generally so far up their own arses, I'm surprised they ever get out.

Hey its not us!!! ;-)

Only about 30% of Liverpool fans are actually from Liverpool, scousers are mainly Evertonians. Always makes me laught that, everytime you hear an interview at a Liverpool game its like the United Nations convention.

I actually wish their fans were just scousers as at least the cult would be so much smaller and contained to one area (even though I live here).

Fair enough.

We think the same when Liverpool fans call Utd “Mancs”.

I was referring to Liverpool fans, I actually like Evertonians, probably more so this season since we’ve been their second team lol.

Where's our resident Spurs' fans? @SpursLoyal ?

Still drunk!! What a game. I shouted almost as loud as a City goal.(Which had the added bonus of waking the mrs up!). Pure theatre.

Hi there!

I have been on auto pilot all day after 3 hours kip last night.

Fear not our name is on the cup.

Good luck Vs Brighton. Your country needs you.

I can't believe we have bottled our way to the final when we were out with 13 minutes left in game 4.

Changing the subject...Kompany's goal though.... magnificent.

Still can't (and won't) warm to Spurs after they broke my heart in 1981. That being said; for the love of football, pretty please (with sugar on top), beat the entitled ones in Madrid. My hatred for Spurs can be put on the back burner. For one night anyway. All together now....

"Oh when the Spurs,
Go marching in,
Oh when the Spurs,
Go marching in,
I wanna be....."

I too would like to congratulate Spurs on reaching the Champions' League final.

I wanted Ajax to beat them, but credit to them, they deserved to go through last night.

I also hope that they go on to lift the trophy, as the alternative would be unbearable.

Me too Jim. I know far too many Spurs fans than is medically advisable, but I do wish them well for the final, they have had some incredible good fortune thus far and I hope it continues to Madrid.

Only for one game though

It would be even funnier if you bottled your way to winning the thing!

On a side note, I genuinely think, all things considered, your comeback was more astounding than theirs.
