Sunday is more important because it’s the next game

If fit Kev plays

i agree,
and even better it would mean Foden probably would not. the scope of the game was beyond him in most aspects of the game at L C, as stated in another thread,
we need our most experienced side out there now to stay calm and surgically do the business.
i like sane, but i like him from the bench too, so i think no way he'll start.
so i like this.

----------------ederson------------
-------kompany--------laporte---
walker----------------------zinchenko
--------------gundogan-----------------
---b.silva---------kdb--------d.silva---
--------sterling---------aguero---------

if kdb doesn't go, i'd go with a modified 433
adding jesus, for added offense, he's better than mahrez, foden and delph at almost all aspects, especially scoring.
and with our possession in this one, defense from that position will not be at a premium.

Kev is the key to unlocking the packed defence

His eye for the pass is second to none, even David

Absofuckinglutely!!!!!

as long as we win, any way would be great, but....
in that QPR game Peter Drury did the anounc. on my feed and at the death when we were still down 2-1 he said(not exact quote but close)
"In their worst dreams City fans never imagined this, where will they go?, where will they hide?, How will they be able to go to work in the morning?"
I don't want to hear that again.

We ABSOLUTELY HAVE to win this game on Sunday, for the sake of football.
Can you imagine the total dipper media wankfest from the final whistle, through to the end of NEXT season as the vermin are called CHAMPIONS in EVERY game up until the last next season.
We CANNOT allow this to happen.

jesus-tapdancing-murphy, i never thought too much about the horror of losing on sunday, as i don't reckon we will,
but your right! there will be a whole fken year of being reminded of it, and how great their 12th man on the pitch Klopper is.
We can't have that.
only two days left before the game and i'm already fed up with the shit-storm of media crap designed to fertilize the seeds of doubt.
a year of them being called champs? just shoot me.

The positive vibe is this our time again 1-0 or 10-0 a win is a win and we can do it....Whatever a win is a win...... Come on City

If we fcuk it up this forum will be unbearable

Two games to go for us and the dippers, record so far

City played 59 Won 50 Drawn 3 Lost 6 Goals scored 159 Goals conceded 38
Pool played 51 Won 36 Drawn 8 Lost 7 Goals scored 110 Goals conceded 38

It's obvious who has had the better season from the stats but all the hysteria surrounding the dippers has prevented the media from realising that city have set a record number of wins in top flight English football. I don't think anybody here has realised that either but City have produced record breaking performances this season.

No other team in the history of the premier league has managed to win as many games as City this year and guardiola's win percentage far exceeds any season he had at Barcelona and with us here previously. He had a slightly better win percentage at Bayern Munich but they play less games in the league and arguably less quality opposition.

We have statistically been the best team ever to play in England but due to the media bias in favour of the dippers this has been missed.

Liverpool have allegedly the best defence in the world and yet we have played 8 more competitive games than them and conceded the same amount of goals.

We really need to beat Brighton on Sunday to make the media realise how good we have been this season. Unfortunately, they will concentrate on how unlucky Liverpool have been even although they have lost more games than us, won less games than us , scored far fewer goals than us and conceded the same amount of goals than us even although they have played 8 games less.

We have been record breakingly exceptional this season but I'm afraid Liverpool were apparently much more deserving of success. It really sickens me that they are so close when they are statistically shit in comparison to us.

Right, off to bed, up at 4 and off to my son's in Kent (he goes to away games and drives up for some home games), long standing family event then watch the match on his 50-inch tv. Would rather watch it at home. Just hope the fucking future in-laws don't turn up at the house. Nice people - not football people - the sort of people who say 'Never mind, they'll win next time...'. Fuck off !!!!! I'm 58 but nothing like the sensible in-laws. Look in-laws, I'm a fucking lout for 90 minutes 50-odd times a year - I'm not like you lot....... Bricking it btw.

We need to come out throwing the heavy punches to the chin from the off - take the gobshite BHA players straight out of their comfort zone.

He who hesitates is lost,to be fair I’m going against the grain slightly we have got to where we are,but being slightly conservative in games in my opinion,I’d love to see us go out and show why we are the current champions and centurions ffs chances like this don’t come around often I fact 10 years since a team retained the title,if and only if we do it,it’s onto Wembley and a chance to achieve something that hasn’t been done in English football a domestic treble, again chances like this don’t come round often, ffs grasp the fucking nettle and like the proverb says fortune favours the brave, don’t look back and think what if...

Er… I think it would be a good idea for you to turn your irony radar on.

why did you edit out where i said i hope he was having a wind-up?
my irony radar is fine thank-you.
but thank you for bastardizing my post so you could put me down, but i'm on to it, still feel good?
there's irony for you.
