& Mrs has plans to keep me occupied (gardening, shopping) lol :)

But yeah, proper feeling it today. My first thought when I woke up was I wonder how the lads are feeling :)

If I’m a top exec at Americans Express (and every one of their other sponsors who has any signage or billboard or banner at that stadium) I’d have already called Brighton to take it easy, nothing better than to have the trophy presentation at AmEx at the end of season ... all the coverage goes live world wide and would be replayed over and over till the next season of champions lifting the trophy and what better publicity to be got from your brand in the background everywhere and name AmEx mentioned in every news bulletin round the globe on repeat ... surely that’s worth more to the club (their sponsors getting that kind of coverage) than the three points at the end of season when they’re already safe and that doesn’t change anything in their league position either, I mean no matter what they’d most probably finish 17th still (don’t see Saints losing to Huddersfield in their last home game) ...

For club might be a bigger story stopping the league winners but that doesn’t do anything for sponsors than having their own name in the background of all the celebrations ...

I can't recall a time going back to when we run the league in 68 that we have not either won the league or got promoted when it has gone to the last game of the season.
Conversely I cannot recall avoiding relegation when it has gone to the last day.
May that continue tomorrow.
