I wonder when we call in the Fed's.
Nope, works in IT for a major bank.
City's statement could not be stronger. They have put UEFA and everybody else on notice that the judicial gloves are off. Whatever UEFA decide, they are in for a legal kicking. Perhaps one day, the 'Significant unresolved matters' will be the unmasking of dirty tricks by the G14/16 clubs and their UEFA henchmen.
Finally, the club's patience is exhausted. Can't wait for the denoument. C'mon City.
Bastards, they never think of the fans. :-)Both these have it spot on. When, in the last 10 years of ownership, have you know City to ‘come out swinging’? I won’t wait to long for the answer. One thing I have learnt is that City just get on with the job of winning games. No media bans, no tv interviews telling UEFA to stuff it, nothing. They let the lawyers do their bit, accept the punishment for breaking rules if broken with no histrionics and get on with winning. Personally, I find this very, very refreshing and, probably something more people should follow as an example. Non of this ‘coming out swinging’, banning reporters etc will actually achieve anything. If anything it would produce even more bad press. The only people who would probably feel better would be some of our supporters.
Maybe so.They will go to CAS first though.
Is CAS our only option ?
No we can go through the Swis courts as well.Is CAS our only option ?
Hmmm...all a bit confusing...will be clearer in a few days I guess
Ultimately it's their club, they make and interpret the rules, and we will have to comply if we want to maintain membership. Quite what format our compliance takes or appears to take is where this will be resolved.
Note they put WHEN and not if."Manchester City is entirely confident of a positive outcome when the matter is considered by an independent judicial body."
Interesting phrase from City that could imply taking the case beyond EUFA if necessary.
Yep me the club should fucking refuse to play itSo is there anyone who still thinks we should NOT boo their jingle?
Swiss law allows it [evidence obtained illegally] if in the public interest.
