FA Cup Final v Watford - Pre Match Thread

Expecting a really tough game. Thought they were really good at the Etihad, defended well, very good at playing through the press and we needed an offside goal to break them down. Deulofeu is a very tricky player and will cause problems.

Having said that, I think our players will feel the pressure of those last 14 league games being lifted and will play with a lot more freedom. We are also aiming to win an unprecedented domestic treble and as last season proved, when we are trying to make history, no one is getting in our way.
 
Back end of Jan I put on my old Balotelli 45 shirt for a match and we won.
I refused to wash it out of superstition and wore it for every match since.

Obviously we continued to win.

I'm just getting ready for the pub to watch todays game and put the shirt on again.
My wife said 'Jim, that shirt stinks. It's got beer stains on the front of it and Toothpaste stains on the shoulder. You cannot wear that shirt again today!`

Hahaha! You bet I'm wearing it again today!

Although I've got a spare shirt for after the match and can finally wash this one.

this is a special day and its being played down in the media and because its manchester city ?? the media are glossing over the facts its THE FA CUP FINAL ?? this day is so special for so many people not just city fans but football fans, everybody loves the fa cup final its a show piece of British culture and its the icing on the cake of a football season, pep said its a dream to walk out in the fa cup final with the team and watched it as a boy and it was always shown in spain, that is i mean about being special and a big part of the make up of english football shown around the world everybody know the FA cup final is special

watford should get lot of credit for making the final and it will be no walk over and we all know what can happen if we don't take them serious and respect them so i think city will be ready and lots of work been done in training this week, forget the glory of the premier league title and league cup it gives us nothing extra in a one of game like this, they will be right up for this, we need to win the fight and win the right to be winners today and nobody (watford) is giving it to manchester city on a plate

This trophy as evaded is for sometime now.
But let's go and won this.Watford can be tricky and tough but we have beaten them twice and now with well rested squad with almost everyone for and PL and EFL cup in bag,we should be good enough for win tonight
