No, I wasn't referring to the five years in a row thing, I mean that even taking into account her antipathy towards City, and assuming she'd rather stick pins in her eyes than choose Aguero, to select Drogba over Kane is still cretinous.
Agreed. The Drogba one is weird even looking at his stats. I mean 20 goals in 3 seasons is not even Rashford level. In fact he only really had 2 good seasons at Chelsea in his whole career.

Just moving away from that cow for one moment, and why is it that money just gets brought up whenever City are mentioned. Utd have spent a bit less over the same time that adug took us over and have finished a massive 32 points behind us and won fuck all.. So is their any way these lazy media cretins can focus on the fact that money helps but doesn't guarantee anything, just ask the rag twats.
Or the Dippers for the last 30 years.

This last bit needs quoting out ...

City haven’t got a defender as expensive as Virgil van Dijk, a midfielder as costly as Paul Pogba, even a striker in the range of what Arsenal paid for Alexandre Lacazette. So do not be fooled. Other clubs spend, too — but perhaps not as wisely.

Guardiola is also a coaching visionary, getting extraordinary improvements from his players. That’s every bit as significant.

The protectionist FFP rules, meanwhile, have always been about keeping the established elite in place. Back in 2010, they thought they were untouchable, but that complacency has been exposed. Never forget the clubs who made football all about money in the first place.

What they really hate is City winning at their game.

That's all folks.

[@city_rabin] "Anyhow people have asked me if I am some sort of a spy or being paid by anyone to target some reporters. The answer is a resounding no, I am not. All of the info I've gone through are in the public domain and I've also taken the time to reproduce the source every time.

Truth isn't subjective but how people perceive it is based on who carries the truth to the people. This puts a big responsibility on those who report news but today it is absolutely OK to twist any fact to justify a narrative. Ppl like Ewan MacKenna don't bother with evidence.

Sports journalists have become human rights advocates overnight, they have become socialists decrying money in football all because their favourite team lost. If City has run afoul of the FFP, I'm sure they will be punished and City can and will handle it.

But before any pronouncement of guilt, a vast section of the media have decided that City's success is tainted. They don't even hide this...it doesn't matters. FFP or not. It doesn't feel like a sporting event, the fans are puppets in a global project. Evidence be damned."

Well done that man tbh. I followed that tweet and Rob Harris is a knob it would seem! Of the highest order, caught red handed

What decade is that team supposed to be off, it makes no sense whatsoever, I'ld expect if shes released it after this season it should be 2009-2019, in which case you would expect 50% i.e. 5 seasons as an absolute minimum for consideration.

De Gea\ Hart or even Cech could have been argued
Rb I cant really think of an outstanding one over a sustained number of seasons in that period so would go for walker, decent at spurs and 2 record breaking seasons

Kompany & Terry were the stand out CB's

Cole Baines rose probably arguing for LB no real stand out candidates.

Silva, kante, Hazzard & 1 from the likes of slippy G, lampard, eriksen would have been reasonable

Augero & either saint harry shrek/ van pussy

Any so call journalist that bitches about city's domination over the period and not include Silva Augero & Kompany simply loses any shred of credibility, although in her case its highly unlikely she ever had any to lose.
Think balding, tough tackling, Argentine right back ;-)

I bet Dan Roan jumped out of bed this morning like a death row inmate who's just got a pardon.

Is football even a necessary word in that sentence.

Ha ha. No doubt the woman must have some intelligence but even the most intelligent people lose their marbles where football and prejudice/bias become involved.

I would say most City fans of a certain age would make the best pundits, or would have before all the nonsense that has and is being thrown our way. That is because for years we stood outside the battle for honours going on and observed. We were never involved and never likely to be involved so aside from our loathing of the rags we were impartial. Even then we could recognise great players and football even if it was them playing it. Fan's of deposed former giants shouldn't be a pundit as their bias and bile come to the fore.

Manchester City’s state-funded spending is ruining football, says La Liga chief Javier Tebas
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/...all-says-la-liga-chief-javier-tebas-sdqd9xr6f

“During Soccerex two years ago, I said they weren’t living up to FFP standards,” Tebas said. “City sent me faxes and legal documents saying they were going to put me in front of a court in Manchester if I didn’t correct my statements. I still haven’t gone to court in Manchester, nor have I been called to present myself there. So I reaffirm what I said on that day.

Time for the club to put up or shut up. Sue the c*nt or don't embarrass yourselves by making hollow threats.
