The Conservative Party

Impossible job leading that load of vipers at this time. I think she was well intentioned but clearly this was a promotion too far. God help us with who they pick next.

Glad she's gone, but got a feeling things will get even worse under her successor, looking at the list of likely candidates.

Has to go to a GE surely?

Lib Dem’s and Green merge please and keep the Tories and Communists out.

Peter Bone giving a car crash interview now on 5Live - asked if Gove is a possible replacement he said " oh God no not Gove" - then tried to back track from that by saying a new leader has to "unite both extreme wings of the conservative party" - then decided "extreme" was a poor choice of words.

The Tories may as well put Farage up for PM. It’s he that is shaping their agenda more effectively than anyone else. Watch them adopt no deal as a preferred Brexit option over the coming months irrespective of the new leader.

We vote for a local constituency MP and party, no a PM or president.

Didn’t hear a peep from a labour supporter calling for an election when Brown took over.

This is absolutely correct but I feel it’s one of those moments where it should be done given the likely direction change of the whole party.

Sorry notnsaying this because obviously I am labour, but with this being possibly the 2nd unelected PM, we really deserve a GE after this shitshow

We may still get one.

If Boris gets on the leadership ballot, as seems likely, he'll win big with the hang em and flog em brigade in the Tory shires.

Can the fat fool hold the Tory Party together? I don't think so, he has no stonking majority to hide behind if a sizeable number of wets wander off.

"I think she was well intentioned"
Err...no she wasn't.
Yours
A citizen of nowhere.
I think she was well intentioned in her desire to try and deliver a Brexit of some description that she thought might work but ended up pleasing nobody.

Why are people saying she was unelected?

She won a minority government in 2017.
Ironically if she hadn't she might still be in the job using the majority she inherited to pass her WAB.

I predict a choice of:

Posh bastard Brexiteer
Posh bastard Brexiteer backed by Bannon
Posh bastard brexiteer with a highly punchable face
Scouse bastard brexiteer who thinks shes Thatcher

SKY News calling Boris a "Loveable Liberal"

Excuse me while I piss myself laughing.
