me too go get Chilwell

Get both.
Walker. - Stones. - Maguire. - Chillwell
The England back four. Obviously this line-up would only start for us occasionally - but if England become (semi)successful Pep will be hailed a hero by the media and the murmurings of Pep and the England manager's job will become deafening.
When Pep decides to depart (hopefully a long way away), taking the England job would be the most acceptable option for me.
*lip slightly wobbles at thought of no more Pep*

He won’t be hailed a hero if that happened, he would have been called a chequebook manager

I really don’t want either. I think there is better out there. In fact for me I don’t see Maguire as an improvement over Stones, Laporte or Otamendi. Nor do I see Chillwell as a massive gain over Zinchenko, Danilo and Mendy (if fit).

If we are spending big money on a CB then they have to be in the De Ligt standard. Left back if Danilo stays I’d be happy to go with what we have and promote our own youth for a few games here and there. Chilwell is a good player but he’s not £75m good which is what is being quoted. I find the prices ridiculous. He’s had one season at Leicester. When we paid £50m for Walker he was an established international with many seasons under his belt playing at the top end with Spurs.

Mahrez was quoted (by Leicester) as a £90M player. We didn`t do too badly with the £60M so I for one will completely ignore the figures being banded about.

Don't think we'll waste what will probably be over 100m on two average players just to get praise from the English media. I couldn't give a toss what they think about us, I'd rather just concentrate on signing players that actually improve us.

would rather have stones than Maguire any day of the week.. Maguire a massive NO from me

If we could get him for a decent price then I’d say fair enough but for the transfer fee which has been talked about then no, absolutely not

I’d try and talk Otemendi in to staying and go for an old head who can do a job of 18months until Garcia is ready. What’s Demichellis up to these days......
