Haha Joshua interrupts Ruiz’s interview and then when they try to ask him a question he says it’s not about me. Idiot.
 
Told you something's rotten in the state of Denmark. You'd be devoed if you'd lost your crown. I reckon this is the only way he can fight fury and wilder, getting beat makes it easier for those bouts.
But fuck me you could see it a mile off he wasn't up for it tonight, bizarre to say the least.
 
Not sure what to make of it all.

Personally, I think Joshua assumed it was in the bag before he stepped into the ring. By the time he realised he had a fight on he’d already taken some massive blows and couldn’t turn it around.

Mad. Ruiz was an animal, hats off to him.
 
Gutted by that but fair play to Andy Ruiz Jr it had to be stopped. I said it as soon as I saw how he got up in the 3rd round. Liverpool win the CL and AJ loses on the same night(ish).

It will probably sound like sour grapes but I said it at the time, there was something weird about AJ before the first bell. I've never seen him give off that body language before, he was pushing his gumshield out with his lips trying to look calm but the eyes said different. We'll probably never know for sure but he started on the back foot, he went from the best finisher at heavyweight when he knocked him down, to a guy winging it and getting clipped on the temple... he missed 4 or 5 punches, he normally picks his punches, that was so unlike his normal self. It was like he went backwards several years in one fight.
 
Got to give it to Ruiz. Thought he was a fighter that Joshua would out class easily. But he came in with a good strategy and had some dog in him. Of course Joshua did absolutely nothing until he was knocked down a couple of times. Then he started brawling against a guy who could do that all day. Willl be interesting to see how this fucks the heavyweight ranks further. Since you had three high profile boxers whose managers were dicking around in power plays. And now Joshua has lost his title.
 
Some nonsense in here, as always after a big fight.

He got beat fair and square. He got hit clean on the temple twice in the third round and his legs were totally gone. He never recovered and then was getting countered. Ruiz speed on the inside after Joshua lunged in was tremendous.

The fear with Joshua is that he doesn’t have the chin. He’s at his most vulnerable when he’s had success but he’s so open to counters.

Ruiz was a terrible opponent for him, too short, too fast and too precise. There were signs in the first couple of rounds against Povetkin.

The only chance AJ has of being the undisputed superstar he could be is if he becomes a 12 round fighter fighting behind his jab. He did it very well against Parker but there’s so much pressure on him to entertain and knock people out that it negates his real strength.

The stoppage was right. It must have been 20+ seconds when the ref stopped it and even when Joshua was on the floor he looked like he quit.

I see trouble in the rematch too.
 
Fury beats them all. Even with the two knockdowns he beat Wilder. Wilder knew he was lucky to get that decision when it was announced. He got outboxed all night on Fury's 2nd fight back, give him more fights and he'll be even sharper. Granted he's got heavy hands but I think Fury wins the rematch and he'd very probably outbox AJ all night too.

Usyk's interesting. Hope he makes the step-up well, can see him outboxing much of the current crop too.

Looked like a big fat lump of lard to me. There will be a rematch in the UK. Hearn and his cronies will make millions again.. He will get the belts back and the circus will continue.
