The very fact that the media and their fans are touting the CL with such undue hyberbole indicates to me that they are acutely conscious that it doesn't even register on the scale of achievements by comparison to the records we have set and the trophies we have won over the last 24 months.

Our three domestic trophies are about consistence over a whole season. Your lot gave up on the League/FA Cup to 'concentrate on the PL', and you only got to the CL final off the back of some pretty dubious decisions, so yeah, enjoy your moment in the sun.
