I have no problem it being reported on and even lauded, but its this narrative that somehow only the dippers really get it, that it means more, that it is almost a spiritual experience. Add to that they talk and write about it like it is their right, they belong at the top winning trophies and the world isn't right unless they are. It is bloody infuriating.

Nevermind @RoryisBust maybe Liverpool will be the only ones to achieve something one day, (apart from getting English clubs banned from europe that is).Oh, and I know that you are hurting over not winning the PL, because every dipper I know is, and thats because you feel you are entitled to it, so you assume we feel the same about the CL, but what you cant understand is that we are happy with what we win, especially when its this unique, and SPECIAL.

Will you be attending Wembley Rory for the community shield? It's just that it's a trophy you are in by default, as it is usually between the champions of England and the F.A. Cup winners but as we won both your shitty club gets a free entry

To be fair we didn’t have a pot to piss in for decades but we still handled 2012 with decency. I don’t remember anyone rejoicing in anything but City and some deserved hatred being vented towards the rags especially due to that banner

Why didn't you mention Arsenal? They also got to the final.

indeed, the four of them should have dubbed them the Fourmidables instead of us. them getting to a final is obviously better than anything we've done this year.

We just need to accept that most journalists aren't City fans, so we won't get as much praise as we'd like. Worse than that, the majority of them are probably scousers or rags, or cockneys, none of whom have any love for us.

Most decent football fans and neutrals acknowledge how good we are, that's more meaningful than the inane ramblings of bitter hacks and random bellends on social media.
 
One of the biggest wins the club could have is getting some friends in the media. There needs to be some balance. Its not great for the brand to be constantly under attack. Should be focussing quite a lot of effort on that.
