The Labour Party

I don't like the man at all, but I read that Trump turned down meeting Corbyn. Whether Corbyn was then right to speak at a protest march is another matter, but for once and unsurprisingly given the other party is Trump, i don't think the bad diplomacy was all one way.
Do we know if Corbyn actually asked for the meeting or has Trump made it up so he can say he turned him down?

Not in the mood for an argument mate - the London Mayor and the leader of the Labour party should have shown the democratically elected leader of the USA much more respect.

You calling him orange head and quoting the guardian suggests to me you are "left"
Calling Trump orange head doesn't make someone left wing in the same way that calling Corbyn a scruffy tramp doesn't make someone right wing. They're both statements of fact.

Yeah - he invited him to meet him in a mosque or cultural centre to have wide ranging and open discussions - soon as Trump heard there were no burgers and strippers in such a place he declined the offer.

You misunderstand - calling someone a tramp is acceptable ...................because they say so. Trump however is beyond reproach.

I'm not fucking 'left'.

I'm just honest.

Trump, started the argument. Boris Johnson, not Khan, showed him the original so called 'disrespect' by calling it 'nonsense'.

That is a fact.

Strange it's only Khan who gets mentioned, carrying on the same argument, while BJ & Orangehead are now on the same team.

They aren't on the same team.........Johnson has merely taken over the role of chief arselicker temporarily because he hopes it will help his leadership bid to be appointed by the POTUS as our PM. Trump dangles a trade deal that will be of equal benefit to both sides - which he knows it won't - because he calculates that boosts support for Johnson and Farage.

Boris, Farage etc are just the Trump England charter imo.

Matt Hancock calling Corbyn anti Semitic with references to a certain Mr Hitler, successful Ex Labour leader and PM Tony Blair also saying he makes anti Semitic remarks but doesn’t realise it. Also reports Jezza has fallen out with Thornberry over her wish for a 2nd referendum.

Strange times.

He needs to fuck off now.

Time is definitely time on that shit show he’s ran.

I strongly suspect that a new Tory leader will see a new Labour leader ushered in - however whether there will be a massive change in policy is doubtful.

Matt hancock is a dick tbf.

However jezza needs to step aside and allow someone else to lead.

The main job of steering labour back left is done, now leave someone not tainted by his incompetence and closed shop cabal attitude to lead.

Frankly the level of discourse has sunk so low. How a candidate for PM can suggest Corbyn is like Hitler beggars belief.

I blame the superfiiality of social media. Politicians seem to think they can say what they want without thinking.

Pathetic really, hancock should be excpuded from the race for bringing the level down so low, but then they say it on marr, question time, ridge on sunday etc most weeks unchallenged so it is now the political norm.

Maybe rather expecting politicians to raise their standards all those on social media should attempt to raise their own.

Chance would be a fine thing, SM has given the crank, the angry and the depraved a place to be heard

And the two main groups to benefit are the nationalist side of Vote Leave and the hard left.

It’s like two lunatic asylums being heard in public for the first time.

He wasn't 'democratically elected' though ... he received fewer votes than HRC and had help from the russians (bit like the Brexiteers actually ) ....
