That home shirt is a fake.

It’s purple on the real version. Undisputedly so.

The give away for the fakes is often that the wording of Manchester City in the badge is a bit rubbish. You can see the ‘City’ positioning is way off.

I’d be really happy if the trim was more that colour though.

It's very different and a bit Bertie Bassett but the story behind it represents a bit of Manchester which we should all appreciate. The home shirt is okay, I'd rather the maroon wasn't on the shoulders which makes me not want to go and buy it.
