Angelino

Sounds good, but why would he come back to City when he is playing every week for PSV and they are playing in the CL ?

He had 41 appearances, 3590 minutes played.

Why risk losing that and be 2nd or 3rd choice LB ?

If the plan is to use Zinchenko more in midfield being second choice to Mendy is worth the chance.

Ask delph whether he’d rather have stayed at villa playing every minute in the championship for the last few years or whether he made the right decision to come to city and win countless trophies as a solid squad player still racking up the appearances

Makes sense if Pep thinks he's good enough. Amazing what a turnaround it's been for a player who was struggling to get game time at his previous loans. Just goes to show it sometimes takes the right move to show what you can do. I guess Harry Kane is the most obvious example of that.

Get it done. So many of our screw ups came at left-back last season, and hope more than evidence suggests Mendy will go a season uninjured.

Not sure how you arrive at that conclusion. He was an almost ever present at NAC in 17/18 and played quite often at Mallorca in /17.
He had already shown at NAC that he was good enough and, arguably, should have been brought back last season.

If we can sign him for peanuts, get the deal done.

Will play more games next season for City than Mendy will have done in his entire City career. No brainer.
