Platini Arrested

Most of the occupants of the average garden pond could have deduced that Qatar acquired the 2022 world cup through corruption and large bribes...
Platini is just part of a very large congregation of sly corrupt shysters that have been corrupting world football for multiple decades....
Hope he brings down the rotten lot of the ****s with him......!

This ^^**. When the dust settled- it was clear none of the FIFA delegates had read the Qatar bid because they had no idea how high the summer temperatures were. It was only in retrospect they decided to move the tournament to the winter. There’s some evidence that Russia and Qatar acted together bribing and buying votes. I suspect French prosecutors will put the heat on Napoleon and I’ve no doubt he’ll squeal and land a few others in it to save his cowardly arse. Would love Mr Gill to be the next person to help the police with their enquires.
 
I'd love the FBI, or a huge organisation similar, to go to work on these vile troff nosed bastards! It'll be fantastic to see the fuckers squirming, then BBBOOOOMMMM! 20 years a piece. I haven't a scooby how these things work but that'd make me very happy :)

That would be wonderful, if the investigation was expanded to other things as he tried to save his neck.

We all know that FFP is also down to corruption but it's whether there is any money trail to follow or whether it's just favours, power & influence as payment.

1st 2 parts I agree with u ...

It's most likely to go ahead...but it won't certainly be shit !

They have spend shit loads , it will be Worls Class.....Money can buy you anything in this case.

The way world cup has been bought though is another matter

The decision to award Qatar the World Cup was rotten to the core.

The weather would have been way to hot, but it was still awarded.

Then it gets moved to Nov/Dec, which completely fucks up the domestic calendar.

The Premier League will have to shut down for about 7 weeks? The CL and Europa League will have to cram in the group games early, the League Cup the same.

I can't see how anyone thinks it's a good idea, unless they have a vested interest.

Can’t disagree with any of that.
I’ve not heard how the leagues plan to adjust suspect early start and later finish, but likely 4 weeks of sunshine football and instead of 4 weeks of winter league football.
Been here 2 years and the transformation is quiet astonishing.

Several media have reported corruption in all World Cup bid back from 1998 World Cup in France. And i'm convinced even before there was corruption. This is how it goes.

Qatar is just an obvious case because it is hard to legitimely understand why they would be chosen over other countries. Doesn't change the fact everyone buys their World Cup, Olympics and so on.

I’m not a local mate, I’m a gorton lad working here. The locals are very welcoming.
Re-England fans, haven’t been to watch them since they had a pre World Cup friendly at the Etihad and I had to sit with my sons whilst a load of southern England fans gave it ‘large’.
Obviously not damning all England fans but the knobheads I imagine will more likely think twice about kicking off here than perhaps in, oh I don’t know portugal
