until we have a moving laser beam on the touch line just over the advertising boards and a sensor in the player boot and ball for the ball is clearly left the foot then your offside ?? that's when technology and VAR can judge offside

I think a PL title decider would be different, especially if we are playing liverpool or united (Ok I'm stretching the argument there...).

The tight offsides could be cleared up with a “on field call stands” decision by VAR, similar to cricket. only the James Milner v West Ham ones would need to be overturned

You are right. But that's not a VAR issue, what VAR is doing is highlighting how inconsistent Refs are! Hopefully that will lead to better refereeing eventually... If we scrpa it now that possibility is lost forever and the Cartel win!!

Yep , best thing in football ...gone forever.
I believe it will come to a stage next season where all fans will need to forget their partisan support of their individual clubs & get together to claim our game back & demand var is fucked off, boycotts if necessary. If we don’t many will drift away from the game & it will be stolen off us & gone forever , we either fight or lose our game .
