The Labour Party

The rules were set out before the election and he won according to those rules.

I hate the man but this is true.

He is democratically elected and should hold office until he’s voted out at the next election or impeached, which will hopefully happen sooner rather than later.

Mysogonist and racist, is that In the rules?
If only other politicians treated the idiot with the contempt he merits.
I wonder why Johnson and farage get on so well with the orange racist??

Or re elected.
Couple of family and friends live in USA.
They all reckon he will win again because the democrats are so weak now.
He gets a lot of stick off people that have never met him, but the general consensus is that they like the fact that he speaks his mind and actually tries to get things done for the prosperity of the USA.

As did Corbyn and as will the next Tory Leader and PM - It seems democracy flourishes when the type of person who can vote is restricted - though in fairness to Labour they allowed many people to register and vote as "members" and many of those who did voted Corbyn because they thought it would be funny - be careful what you wish for...............

They’ve had it. Finished.

At a time, regardless of ones Brexit stance, the Opposition to the worst Government in living memory is not able to conduct itself properly is a complete dereliction of duty

I don’t see where they go from here, I really don’t. The Labour Party have aided and abetted this joke of a Government because they haven’t got their house in order

I’ve said it before and i’ll keep saying it, Corbyn is what happens when some who is under qualified is over promoted

And it’s more sinister than that sadly.

Both parties are what happens when you give too much power to the fucking bigoted loons on the back benches, one way or another.

I did think as I was typing is it a ‘cock-up’ or ‘conspiracy’. And it looks the latter. But if it’s the former Corbyn is clearly out of his depth(plus other reasons) and of it is conspiracy then, he’s at best, sympathetic to the loony fringe. But he has to be to stay in ‘power’ - so much for this man of principles who was going to do things differently

Let’s say Johnson wins and decides on a GE, whilst unlikely, it could be a good move for the Tories as Labour will be finished for the best part of 10 years

Well if he does I shall be voting Liberal Democrat.

Can’t stand either of the tossers running the two main parties currently.

The Labour Party are as much of a shambles as the Tories. Why anyone would vote for either of these excuses for political parties is totally beyond me. If there was an election tomorrow fucking Farage would probably win it with 30% of the vote with Labour and the Lib Dems on 25% each. Labour needs to get its shit together and quickly. That means getting rid of Corbyn and getting a centre left anti-Brexit leader in. Trouble is it won’t happen while a couple of the bigger unions and Momentum have a disproportionate say when compared to the views of Labour voters.

I'd tend to disagree about the proportion of say - you have the Union influence which is much larger in number than momentum but momentum is nearer the core hence Mclusky regularly flexing Unite's muscle to remind them they are there. But the dichotomy is that you have staunch Labour MP's who find themselves in constituencies that voted Leave in 2016 some of which are showing less appetite for Leave as reality bites which makes their position very difficult too - none of them knows which way to jump. In many areas Corbyn is disliked because of the press assault on him which has brainwashed people into disliking him but not knowing why but thinking his policies in the last manifesto made sense for the working person. I'd suspect that by the time of the next GE Labour may well contest it on the same policies but with a different Leader. That should be the Tory fear - they put Corbyn up as the bogeyman NOT the policies - change the bogeyman and the "threat" has gone...........they would struggle to campaign then.

I don’t think there is anything fundamentally wrong with the Labour manifesto from the 2017 election. They have lost all credibility because of Corbyn. It’s not just the press campaign against him, he is basically a Leaver in a Remain party and his attitude to the antisemitism issue is pathetic.

But therein lies the issue - its a Remain party that isn't representing a totally Remain electorate. Mayday was a Remainer masquerading as a Leaver in a Leave party - politics along the old lines is broken at least for now. A Leave OR a Remain Party which published its full manifesto on things beyond Brexit ( health, education, economy for example ) would never pull all Leave or Remain voters together on a party basis which is why politics for the moment along traditional lines is broken - it may be broken long term.
