But the ticket tout promised they'd finish above us, didn't he?
Yep, in their rightful place.

"Next year I guarantee we will be number one in Manchester. We like to be first and we will be first." - Sir Bobby Ticket Tout 9th May 2014.

I hope his guarantees that the tickets he touts are genuine are more credible, the old mother's funeral dodger.

Just reading an article on Newsnow stating that rags fans are angry about City having pulled the Rodrigo signing off, whilst Woodward was looking to signing the likes of the kid from Newcastle .

What I find hilarious is that the braindead lemmings seem oblivious to the fact that with OGS as their manager, if they bought the best players in the world , they would still struggle.

Like Liverpool there history and the media will carry them through the Barren periods because the media need them.
Yeah up to a point, but unless they throw huge amounts of money at players, realistically no one unless it’s about money will touch them with a barge pole,I’m convinced this season is a tipping point for the rags ..

They have done that - Pogbad, the Pianist and now DeGea are just examples of that - throwing lots of dosh at players is not a strategy proven to work well - you need a strategy and a coach who can implement it. OGS hasn't got one and couldn't implement one if it was handed to him on a silver platter.

The good news for the rags is obviously the fact that Nicky Butt is now in charge of their world class Academy set up , so the dynasty of " the best since ............." will carry on thriving .

Promoting from within is clearly the way forward for the " greatest club in the world " , and retaining 6th place is withing their grasp .
