Is no-one else querying Maguire's motives for moving from Leicester to United?

He is leaving behind a far better manager (as unlikeable as he is) and a more progressive bunch of players..............

I wonder what swung it for him?

He apparently expressed a preference to join city. Looks like this is a way for him to get closer to us.

Down down..deeper and down..
I'd love these optimistic finishing positions for them lot to be right, but I think they'll improve on last season, unfortunately.
They showed they're capable during solskjiers (pardon spelling) first took over. They can't be much worse than they were under Mourinho. Maguire will improve them, Wan Basaka could improve them but my prediction is more based on other teams around them. I think Chelsea will see this season as a transitional season, whereas Arsenal haven't strengthened and don't look like adding anyone significant. Maybe Leicester or Wolves can try and break into the top 4 but I can see united there or there abouts.

Please feel free to show me this post next May to ridicule how ridiculously wrong I was.

So:

De gea- 22 million
Shaw- 32 million
Maguire - 80 million
Lindelof - 30 Million
Wan-Bissaka - 50 million

Fred- 55 million
Pogba- 100 million
Matic 40 million
Lingard - 0

Lukaku - 90 million
Martial - 54 Million (inc add ons)

bench
Dalot 22 million
Sanshez- 30 million
McTominay -0
Bailey 35 million
Rashford -0
Rojo 18 million
Young 16 million
Mata - 40 million

Almost 700 Million spent on that lot alone, record fee for Defender and Midfielder and Attacker in PL yet we are the ones inflating prices and ruining football :)

He is a good player but that is huge money.

Be interesting to see who else the get it if any.

The figures for Rahford and Lingard look the most realistic .

Anyway, when are they going to put a statue up of Howard Webb at the swamp? He, more than any other fucker, did more to win them trophies than anyone else. Perhaps another one next to it of Clattenburg hastily shoving a brown envelope into his pocket?
How about a statue of Rock Of Gibraltar being wanked off into a test tube?

Big club,
History,
Grew up as a united fan.
Anything other than the huge fee and wages being offered.
