Putting our NHS differences aside Karen, I am 100% with you on this. I think Sané may very well turn out to be the next CR7 and in time, letting him go will look even more daft than Mourinho flogging KDB. We need to do everything possible to keep him imo.

Sane can be as good as he wants to be. Trouble is, we have been saying that for 18 months and unless there is a serious up-turn, we will be saying it in another 18 months and another after that

He is a top player, but we've got lots of top players who all buy-in. If he isn't doing that either in training or on the pitch then maybe he should go but we can't hold on to players on the strength of them perhaps, one day in the future become very good

He should change his username from Keeper to Flapper.
If Sane or anyone else does not want to be part of our club at this time, they must be crazy and good riddance.

I don't like the silence from Sane, especially now, very telling in my humble opinion.

500+ pages now. Of nothing. Can we not close the thread, or at least give us the option to not see it, until something actually happens?

If you put the OP on ignore you won't see the thread or just don't read it
If only it were as simple as not clicking on it. Every time this thread gets bumped I think "Oh something must have happened", only to come in and see another four pages of conjecture.

Bayern's summer-long charm offensive to sign Leroy Sané is annoying Manchester City officials. A senior City source said: "We are not in negotiations with Bayern over Sané. We are talking to him about a new contract and not looking to sell." [@MullockSMirror via @iMiaSanMia]

We should just come out and say “Bayern - get to fuck” and leave it at that.

Pretty much sums up what a number of us have been (reading into it) saying.

If he wanted out, he'd be gone, the 'silence' is him wanting to stay but on terms that work for him, be it money or involvement.

I've come around on this view. If he wanted to go to Bayern, they would've put up the money needed to sign him and it would've been done a month ago. He wants a bigger contract than we're willing to do and it's a matter of who blinks first.

But that doesn't mean ruling the German rags out though just yet though does it ? Unless their wages are shite of course what they deemed to see fit,who knows

Nah, can't rule anything out just yet. If his wage demands are completely wild maybe at some point we do decide it'd be best to move him on for example. I'm just saying, if his goal this summer was to get a transfer away, he hasn't done a single thing to actually accomplish that.

Very true
