according to the SSN Transfer centre this morning, getting the doughnut thief to sign a new contract is a real sign of intent and will encourage other top players to sign for the Rags, Well fookin darn tootin right it will, cos if a keeper who has just had his worst season can hold out for 350K a week, they'll be a queue a mile long ready to bend 'em over...........or will there!

See the rags are expanding " in their DNA " bullshit propaganda by promoting Nicky Butt to " head of first team development".

He will report to OGS helping to " create a seamless journey for young players stepping up to the next level " according to the BBC.

They look more clueless and desperate to keep their fuckwit fanbase on side with each passing day .

If he wants to help create a seamless journey for the rag youngsters he would be better off taking charge of Sunderland.

I hadn't realised until posted earlier in this thread that City players have scored 30 to 40 goals against the " world's greatest goalkeeper " who is being paid circa £350,000 per week in his latest contract.

Is this the worst record for a goalkeeper , against any other club , in the PL ?

Must be surely ?

Best!

"Peak goal letting in per season"?

He's currently averaging for his entire PL career just over 1 goal per match.
36% clean sheets

18/19 was almost 1.5 goals per match.
18% clean sheets

Has he peaked, plateaued, or will that average creep up... :-)

He's got some way to go before getting back to Ederson levels:
PL career 0.66 goals per match
Just under 50% clean sheets - we have such a crap defense which can be got at...

...and even more to get to Alisson's single season stats, though that'll be something to follow next season with half (-1) their matches having crowd viewable VAR.
Most importantly, it traps United into playing a style of football that is fast becoming outdated. Could you imagine him playing for City?
6 years of ultra high wages and a reducing market to sell into means United have basically committed to a playing style for the foreseeable future.....

39 by my reckoning.

He is their best player,he saves them so many points and yet they are still stuck in 6th place,it's interesting the difference in reporting we get for having a tight pay structure based largely on bonuses but still we are ruining football, funny how so called journo's are not reporting their old mate gill has removed the pay cape so they can give a goalkeeper an obscene wage,as for the alpaca,he is on the decline as fast as joe

Karen, we need a table to demonstrate which team(s) are breaking the pay cap to show it was lifted purely for United's benefit!

According to Jamie Jackson. De Gea's contract offer exceeds Sanchez basic salary. i.e. it's over £390k pw

"Paul Pogba, who had expressed a desire to depart, is expected to stay and there is a firm hope that David de Gea will finally agree a new six-year contract that may make him United’s highest-paid player, placing him beyond the £390,000-a-week basic that Alexis Sánchez earns."

The united way.

Best part of £400,000 a week for de Gea...? FFS!
Still, that's the way to go, you verminous bastards: throw endless amounts of dosh at that collection of mediocrity you call a squad, and give the entire footballing world the chance to see exactly how NOT to run a club.

Rags. The footballing world's equivalent to 'Spinal Tap', an amusing little sideshow but not to be taken seriously. Instead of their amps going all the way up to eleven, the rags have a far higher social media following than any other club, so that makes them bigger and better than everyone else. And just like the fictitious rock band, the rags are heading towards an unpleasant (for them) and embarrassing anti-climax.

Goodbye raggies, you fucking nonentities.

Nice analogy, I like!

These Sanchez figures can't be right. Sky told me yesterday that the top earner in the PL was KDB on 350k with the piano man. Obviously, Kev was first on the graphic.

"Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will not be joining the club’s pre-season tour.

It is understood Woodward believes that staying in the UK is important to conduct transfer business ahead of the new season."

Excellent! An unaccompanied WooWar with an open cheque book. Anything could happen....

I seem to remember Ewar Woowar leaving their Australian tour in the summer of 2013 to "conduct urgent transfer business" and to this day I still don't know who he signed!
