Is this a thing now? Responding at length to posts you haven't read, and to posts you haven't even seen to explain why, and still don't respond to the points made.
Not a thing - no

Just that on the subject of the GFA & the impact of the WA, with a backstop included, on it - I hold Trimble to be dramatically more qualified to comment than either BJ or yourself

You guys just telling me I am wrong to hold that view is not a compelling reason for me to waste any time on looking at what you have said without you first establishing your credentials to be considered more knowledgeable than Trimble

At least this means some of you guys have moved on to supporting the case for a fully federated EU model

Other Remainers still cling to the seriously flawed argument about remaining in the EU wil not lead to integration for the UK

That argument - opt outs, vetoes etc. Is just so divorced from reality as to render those presenting it to be either intentionally prevarication, deceiving themselves or simply ill-informed.

At least Rascal and yourself are moving the conversation on from that ninsense
What mechanism does the EU have for removing the UK Vetoes? I've read through Maastricht and Lisbon several times and I've never seen anything, could you source that for me?

Pound Sterling been rising all day since announcement.

Hits best levels in a month against the Euro.

"The pound traded around its strongest level in a month against the euro on Wednesday, as more weak economic data from the shared currency area put Westminster’s political drama in the shade. As Boris Johnson, the leading Eurosceptic, prepared to take over as prime minister, sterling was on course for its biggest rally against the euro since May, strengthening by 0.6 per cent with £0.8915 required for a unit of the shared currency."

It plummeted three years ago after the referendum when it was assumed we'd be leaving.
It will be climbing based on the assumption that Johnson won't be able to deliver Brexit and we will be remaining.

You really shouldn't bother unless you are willing to admit that all parties, all campaigns and all elections are targeted by social media to gain votes.

Do that and its a discussion as to whether we as a society should allow it or not.

Bemoan because you lost rather than won because of it and its just sour grapes im afraid.
Another post that I did not bother exploring

My opinions on the EU were formed before the millennium

The government relied heavily on the Obama model i know that in targeting social media and before that in a campaign to attract younger voters to register and support.

He was also used to try and frighten the British electorate in to voting to remain as well you know.

Honestly mate ive had this conversation a thousand times on here over the last 3 years and like a dick ive fallen into the trap Vic laid earlier.

Im out, its been done to death.
Sorry mate - surprised you fell for that

That is not fair and you know it.

I’m against all interference and my posts have made that clear.

My issue is those who only seem to take issue with the opposition and frankly because they lost.
Wow

It seems that unproven 'clandestine' interference has to be, as it should, criticised - whereas direct, overt and widespread interference is to be applauded

Double standards?

The problem with the WA is that the Brexit camp have demonised it as the biggest sellout since the Treaty of Versailles, yet a tweak here and a dab of lipstick there and it’s now a victory for Brexit? Tough sell and if Farage doesn’t buy it (he won’t) then no one is buying it.

You’re right about 31st Oct. Nothing is getting done by then.
Just removing the backstop will go a long way

OK, he's knowledgeable. So are all the others who worked for the GFA and think he's talking ERG bollox.

But nice to have your admission that you don't listen to counter arguments.

Been covered many times - you must only read/reply to those posts that serve your narrative

I do to those that I deem to be credible or from credible sources

Give me a break - I am on hols and choose to be selective in the posts that I read/respond to
