He has a 2 year contract remaining which means the only way the club can sell him early is if he wishes to go. If he is adamant he wants to run it down in order to gain a signing on fee, then the club cannot do anything.

I am not suggesting he does or will, but simply pointing out he has contractual protection to do that should he wish

So he is going to run down a 60,000 a week contract for 2 years instead of earning treble that at least for the remainder.
 
Potentially a great but IMO needs to work on attitude. Could become fake Ron and go onto becoming a legend in himself as opposed to the club he represents. For me this city side doesn’t seem billy big pogba. I’d prefer to put the price at £150m which as has been previously mentioned Is the going rate for young superstars in the making these days. Either way there’s a bitter taste left from the way the German rags have behaved and they prob have a great deal of say over the national team. That prob how they’ll seal it.
 
If Leroy goes and it’s a if and with possibly a transfer ban do people really think we won’t replace him

Hope he stays but if he goes we get top dollar and invest wisely which I trust the club to do

I do not want a class player sat on his arse doing stuff all laughing at us as his bank account goes Ker Ching. We've let lesser players than Leroy do that. If the Kid wants to go home fair play. For what its worth I think he is class, just needs someone to convince of that, enter Mr Morrison.

Suppose they cannot do nothing if he was thick as pigshit.
Only the top earners can wind down their contract and sit on their arse.
Leroy is nowhere near the top earners at City.

He's truly in the driving seat is Leroy, If he's unhappy I can't see him hanging about for two years.

He could do six more months knowing his transfer fee will drop, I dare say he will still get a decent signing on fee with pretty huge wages with every passing transfer window.

Anyway he's 3/1 to join the German rags if folk think he's leaving.

Neither do i,i was just countering the there is nothing we can do post,i really want him to stay,i'm just not so sure he will now
 
Why do I get the feeling that Leroy has a non disclosure in his contract and that's why we are not hearing anything from Leroy or his agents.

Foe ease of maths, let's say Leroy's on £50k pw for the next 2 years. If he signs a new contract let's say he would be on £200k pw.

Therefore, by not signing the new contract, wages foregone over a 2 year period = £15m.

In 2 years, Bayern get to sign him for nothing rather than £100m plus. I would guess Bayern would be very grateful to Leroy for such a gesture, if you get my meaning.

This is why it's a problem for us, in terms of getting his market value. If a player only wants a certain club, that club and player hold all the cards. Maybe he isn't such a mug after all? I really hope it doesn't happen but if he wants to go, it has to be now. Get Everton Sousa Soares in as replacement.
