I've also mentioned this a few times, but I'll also keep it short. My wife works for HMRC and what i wrote wasn't an opinion. It's the actual reality of what will happen if we leave.
We have had this conversation before and I 100% disagree with your wife as well.
100% checks is for the birds.
As of Feb 2019 this was sent to all business vat registered and trading with the EU.

Not a single mention of 100% checks on goods.
Its also pertinent to say that even in the event of a no deal brexit, UK business will still be able to use the CTC.
