I think City may want to see more out of him before upping whatever the offer currently is. Luckily for us and Leroy, with Sergio, Gabby, and Riyad all getting back much later than the rest of the squad, he'll be able to work hard and earn a starting place from the opening day of the season. If he plays well, he'll continue to be picked (obviously we'll rotate when we can, but more playing time than the end of last season). From there, City can up the offer and get it done.

I know it's wishful thinking, but it is realistic.

He has improved every year, easily should command £160k wages minimum from City

Hes dropping 16/16 seasons and still needs to improve consistency to hit 20/20

sadly for him(great for city) at the moment he's up against two players who have been in the top 10 in world football last season, and he needs to up it or he wont get the game time he wants, he cant just expect to start games if Raheem and bernardo carry on from last season, because that's who he has to get past.

Exactly. But in a way that's why he should stay at City because he will get tested and will be forced to improve.

German football is too easy.

If it were up to me I'd give him what he wants. I'm just saying based on Pep's selection toward the end of the season he clearly thought he could count on Raheem and Bernardo more. My point was that Leroy has a chance to grab the bull by the horns to start the season.

According to reports in Germany from June, City are offering £190k/w, while Bayern seem to be willing to hand him £220k/w, but apparently Sané is holding out for closer to £340k/w. Of course he won't get that anywhere, but I'm pretty sure he's using this Bayern interest to negotiate himself the odd extra million or two a year.

There is absolutely no way he is trying to get that,it's way over our top earners which he will know, whoever wrote that was shit stirring

There was is a saying apparently in German football that if Bayern are doing well the national team will follow. That underlines some of the devious tactics the German rags operate. I can’t help but feel that the strange decision to drop him for the World Cup is part of a longer term strategy to get him over to Germany.

Suppose he has seen Rashford and the donut thief’s deals.

I`ve got to the stage where I hardly care what he decides and where he ends up!
Let`s be fair, we don`t miss him if he isn`t on the bench, we have enough cover to replace anyone (including KDB) so why worry?
Let him decide, let`s hope it`s soon and we can get on winning stuff :) with or without you, with or without you oo oo

Leroy has been a part time footballer for over 12 months now.

He’s young,lean and fit.

If he has real ambitions to be the best that he can be / one of the best in the world and secure and place in the starting 11 there will rarely be a better opportunity than the one that presents itself in the next 6 weeks.

With Kun, Jesus and Mahrez away it’s his time to really prove his credentials game after game.

Over to you Leroy and go for it lad,the worlds your Langoustine !!

am with you on this and there are hidden messages to them wanting sane and its come and play in germany or your international career will be over

german football is based around munich and with the last world cup shambles they are rebuilding and want munich to fund and build a team to take them to the next 2 world cups, its the german way just like with pep and munich now they want another rebuild and quick and i feel they are using sane as the poster boy and need him in there league

Fair enough, If which has been reported Walker was put on £170'000 a week recently , Leroy will want close to what Sergio, Raz and Kev are on.
If he wants that then he'll have to start contributing on the pitch as consistently well as they do. He's a good bit off that at the moment.

I agree with that. He has massive potential but it is not enough. In this team, desire to be undroppable has to course through your veins and affect everything you do. It is not enough to just believe that you should be in the team, you have to work for it, earn it and deserve it.

I fear that Sane or his camp have given Bayern some indication that he will join them if the reports of their official approach over the last few days are true.

Bayern have been very outspoken in the fact that they required Sane to signal to them before they move forward with the transfer.
