Just had a look at their fixtures. Before we play them on the 9th of November, they'll have already played Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, and United. In the same time we'll have only played Spurs. It's imperative that we get off to a hot start in the league.

Sounds good in theory but let's not forget who we lost to last season ...

No worries. Chelsea, Newcastle, and Leicester all come after the Dippers match. Just Palace we have to be wary of before ;)
I'm not referring to those specific teams mate, just the principal that playing the mid and lower table teams can easily lead to a poor result or two...
I'm convinced City will win the title again but we cant take any result for granted, that's what the rags and dippers have been doing for years ...

I know you aren't. And while anything can happen on any given day in the league, we will still always look at the rest of the top six as our toughest games until someone overtakes the rags. There's another side to every coin, but those five are considerably stronger than the rest of the league on paper.

It sounds arrogant, but the truth is we are better than everyone else. There will be the odd blip here and there, but in all sincerity, and taking off my blue-tinted spectacles, we should fear no one. Respect them, definitely. Don't take anything for granted, absolutely. But fear, no chance.

We know, and most neutral fans know, that the dippers were helped a lot last season - and that's putting it mildly. With the introduction of VAR it won't be be the same again, because if there is anything like a repeat of last season then confirmation will be there for all to see that certain Prem clubs are being assisted and fans will end up boycotting games - hopefully.

We currently stand head and shoulders above every other team in this country: that isn't being arrogant, it's just stating a fact.

Well said. As long as we aren't gloating about it to other fans, I don't think it is arrogant to say we are. We've amassed 198 points in our last 228 available. I think 18.5 other fan bases would say we're the best side in the league, with about half of the dippers claiming they are.

Assuming that VAR will be fair - won't break a few times and won't show incorrect angles now and again

Apologies.

The Liverpool Echo keeps on popping up on News Now Man City.

This time regarding VAR being used in the Community Shield Final.

Hmmm. Something isn’t right. But I can’t workout what it is?

City, winners of the Premier League and FA Cup last season, lock horns with a Liverpool side they marginally edged to the league title last season in what should be an exciting clash.

I knew they had tried to copyright the word Liverpool for football related purposes but according to this had also tried allez allez allez and 6 times. Shameless, they might be more succesful with "not our fault"

Especially as they nicked the song in the first place, typical dippers.
