Not really understand the ones going on about it being a friendly and we should treat it like that.
No we shouldn’t. We as in team and fans. I want us to win the silverware, to beat our rivals and prepare for the new season in the best way possible. Which is play the ones who are best prepared.
I don’t give a hoot about Liverpool. Beat them and we are on course of a good start and already owning our first piece of silverware.

Yes it will be interesting to see how Klopp manages his squad. Strongest starting 11 and risk a drop in quality in the 2nd half or does he keep some of his better players in reserve ?

For me, the 6 substitutes rule places this game firmly into pre season warm up category. Obviously it’s not a friendly because it’s Liverpool but I struggle to get too excited about a game with mass substitutions
 
Klopp complaining about how the premier league is starting too early and it's tough to see how footballers need that break, we have introduced a February break into our itinerary and it wont be long before we are playing ice cream van music and splitting the 2 halves into 4 quarters. GPC always complained about this it was his bread and butter, maybe the big toothed whinger is taking a leaf out of his book?

Yeah you can’t really have a go at Klopp for that, he’s right and Pep has said the same on many occasions

We are the only English team who nearly have 2 full squads with an acceptable quality.

And even then we were nearly out of steam in April and thanks whoever is in heaven we pulled the PL title over the line.
Not sure we had been able if we had reached CL final.
 
I hope the whole Sane sideshow doesn’t interfere with our preparations tomorrow. The absence of Laporte is a problem as I doubt Otamendi is fully fit, wonder who partners Stones?

Klopp has a poor record in finals but has a good record in the German equivalent of the Charity Shield soon no idea how it will go tomorrow.

When has pep said about the season starting too early? fixture congestion around the busiest part of the season yes
Klopp is bleating on about missing 6 players and mane not being back,we were missing 7 and mahrez who played in the same games as mane is back now,he has done nothing but whinge for 3 weeks

We aren't playing...according to sky,every hour it's the dippers are kicking off their season,klopp moaning and nothing about us,they are only there because they didn't win the domestic treble

And it’s not the first time he has inflated his achievements.

The man is near-on the Trump of football with his easily disprovable lies, incoherent rants, pandering to supporters, and laughable “covert” attempts to hide his balding.
