One thing most people haven't considered is that Bayern need Sane now. They're a winger short & their first choice Hudson Odoi is out until November. As to whether they'll look elsewhere, or muddle through until next summer remains to be seen, but the situation is more than a bit odd.

Aren't they soon to be two wingers short? Robben and Ribery, I would have thought they'll want both eventually but Sané is far more developed as a player and accomplished.

Ahsan from 93:20 has said on Twitter this morning that he has information that Leroy has told Pep that he'd like to go to Bayern. He has both actual sources and no reason to lie, so I believe him.

Not told Pep, his agent/s have told City that they'd like us to negotiate a transfer with Bayern. Hence City have named a price. Ultimately Pep doesn't want any player who doesn't want to be here.

This will come down to whether Bayern are prepared to pay the money. It's worth noting what Pep said in the press conference on Friday about his contract. 3 weeks ago it was close, now it isn't. A few days later City have publicly named a price.

Why ? the club are either happy or they aren't, makes no difference to me what fees are or aren't paid for individual players, as long as we carry on winning stuff. The club will plan accordingly either way.

There have been two German footballers we all know who embraced City, the club, the fans, their life in England, and became Mancs through & through.. Sane hasn't done that. He's a supremely talented athete who knows he can make a ton of money from the highest biidder and he also has a touch of youthful arrogance about him to go with his talent. He will go wherever the lure of fame & fortune leads him. So good luck to the lad but I couldn't imagine either Bert or Uwe ever getting a tattoo of their face on their back.

Of course but it means all the posturing through the media has been just that. This has been a chance to rinse a disrespectful club for a top player we still have a two year deal with. I know Bayern aren't known for spending anywhere near the pricetag we have in mind but he is worth it. They'll make a lot back in the commercial side of it, he'll be the poster boy of German football.
