Would have loved him at City if we sold Sane. Could move Jesus to LW and have him and Kun as our striking options.
Well fuck me what a surprise .United put a spin on it that it was due to money - not that they were rejected. If he signs for Spurs that will be exposed as total BS.
They will just call him a mercenaryUnited put a spin on it that it was due to money - not that they were rejected. If he signs for Spurs that will be exposed as total BS.

Eriksen hasn't left yet, they could end up with both of them in the squad, and I'd consider them a good bet for second place instead of Liverpool, especially if they get Coutinho on loan as well.
If he couldn’t agree terms with Woodward - what chance with Levy?
No but I think it’s safe to assume any similar player coming in is his replacement, Levy won’t let him go on a free and they can still sell abroad once the window here closes, but even without him I fancy them for second. Just think Liverpool’s incredible luck will finally end, a few key injuries over the season, not having keepers throw the ball into their own net, salah not being able to so blatantly dive and just other teams having a better understanding of how to play against them alongside spurs’ improvements particularly Ndombele will have them a distance second to us.
Spurs lost about 12-14 league games last season. It will take more than a couple of midfielders for them to get into 2nd
I imagine the lack of champions league football was a factor?
Absolutely. In the scarcely believable event that Spurs were to sign both Dybala and Coutinho, or either one of them plus Lo Celso or Fernandes, there's no way that Eriksen isn't on his way out.
Spurs had a dreadful final three months of the season. Small squad, lots of injuries to key players, and fatigue after minimal rest and pre season for the 9 players who were involved in the World Cup until its final weekend. Not to forget the uncertainty and upheaval of the stadium move. Prior to that, Spurs were right on City's and Liverpool's tails - albeit without having played particularly well.
Agree, and people talk like Liverpool hit the high 90 points mark year on year. There’s nothing to say they’ll be anywhere near last season.
Precisely this.
Suspect that Dybala might also be more open to playing for a more highly regarded, Argentinian coach than for OGS.
Whether that is enough to persuade him, I'm not so sure.
Spread the gospel MikeIt’s ALMOST as if our esteemed neighbours have to offer stupid wages to make up for the fact that they’re absolutely fucking gash and nobody of sound mind or with any ambition wants to go and play at their rat infested shit tip
Nonsense the media is spinning it as United didn’t want to pay his high wages and walked away. It’s everyones boyhood club afterallFantastic signing for Spurs and hilariously embarrassing for the Rags as they can no longer blame money "money"
Yeah, exactly. Dybala was prepared to go to united as long as they would pay him ridiculous wages to make up for him missing out on UCL football.I imagine the lack of champions league football was a factor?
