Does anybody know whether we have reached the tipping point yet where scousers hate city more than manure .

If not we must be close . That will be some achievement of our success decency and professionalism

Jurgen Klopp on Raheem Sterling's goal in the Community Shield: "I have to say, I really liked it. It's so difficult to defend against them because they use the space so smartly. And then obviously they adapt a bit to us when they play us."

Yeh right,we adapt when they play us,arrogant git,raz scores most of his goals from that exact place

I've been saying it all summer but they are going to regret not making any signings this summer. Unless they fuck the cups off they will not have the depth to sustain a title challenge if they lose any players to injuries. Any of van Dijk, Robertson, Salah, Mane, or Firmino go down for an extended period of time and their starting eleven takes a serious hit. We know how upset we were when we didn't strengthen after 2012 and 2014 and even though I've picked them to finish second, with an injury or two I could see them finishing third behind Spurs.

of course they will fuck the domestic cup comps off - klopp always has. That said it was the sheer amount of luck they also got them where they finished last season, lets not forget (as dipper lovers have) that we had players out injured, lost 2 games back to back over christmas and then missed a penatly for the win at klanfield

I think they did last year because they were top of the table around Christmas so they knew it was a possibility. If they're say, 8 points off the top at that point I'm not sure why they wouldn't try to make a cup run. It's not as if the dippers have been snagging trophies year after year.

They made the mistake of throwing the cups and going on warm weather training instead, came back and drew games,i'm a firm believer of playing all the time, resting between games instead of taking weeks off, staying sharp, the trophies speak for themselves, however he is a coward so i expect he will do the same

Defo agree. Not a chance in Earth that klopp goes all out for domestic dominance, because he knows that if they fucks it all up it damages his standing. The guy will only fight on 2 fronts.

As Pep said in his presser, gives us domestic dominance every season as priority, and if we get the rub of the green in europe it is just another bonus.

Go on my hols Sat and i've heard there will be two sets of dipper fans in the apartments opposite.

Anyone got some class put downs just to get me in the mood.

Cheers blues.

I was once arguing with a scouser. He laughed that they'd directed the German bombers up the Ship Canal in WW2.

I replied that the Germans must have been grateful as there was fcuk all worth bombing in Liverpool.

What's all this about VVD's dribbling record still being intact?

Not that it holds any importance to me, but seem to be a lot of dippers insisting Jesus didn't halt his run of not being dribbled past because of some technicality? I mean, I saw the game and I'm pretty sure he did, but you kind of have to suspend reality when talking about that cult of a club.

Is there a trophy for this now, too? Is that why they're all going full Scouse over this?

Their only decent export is the Beatles and they fucked off as soon as they got the chance.

Their entire city owes its previous success to slavery - Manchester took that away from them though and ruined the bastards.

I'd love for this to be Jesus' breakthrough season, as one of the best forwards in Europe and for him to have his best game against VVD, absolutely embarrassing him .

For now we should still wind them up with it and go way over the top over one game, like they did when they beat us 4-3 at Anfield a few seasons ago: "Ahhh the blueprint for VVD la... been found out la.. been found out... squaaaawk" Birdbrain Liverpool fans.

Technicality is that is was classed as a friendly. No stats count from the game. VVDs record is still intact whoppee doo
