Not arsed whose idea it was. The fact that the Trump team thought it was a great idea to ‘to use the newly orphaned baby as a prop for a photo op to make our man look good’ I find disturbing. I’m a cynic when it comes to politicians pumping themselves up for the public but for some reason this one is unsettling. It’s ghoulish. It’s kind of sick.

It's what happens when a sociopath with absolutely no capacity for empathy gets elected into a role that requires the opposite of every personal characteristic that he's got.

Wont happen. It's pointless because the senate would never vote for it. Election next year anyway

As I understand it , the House doesn't need the Senate to impeach. I could be wrong.

Needs 67 senators though including 20 Republicans. Not a chance.

The House can impeach but that doesn't get rid of the President. Conviction by the Senate does that following impeachment and it's that that won't happen.

No it doesnt, but once they vote it then goes up to the senate for them to vote. Reps have the most seats there and not very many if any at all have indicated they are interested in impeachment

There are a number of Rep Senators effectively retiring in 2020 who think the writing is on the wall for the GOP.

The court of public opinion is starting to turn against them, and it seems nobody wants to be on the wrong side.

Still can't see 20 of them voting with the Dems. If there was any indication that would be the case the House would impeach tomorrow.
