Or he priced himself out becouse he did not want to move
Some of these players sign big money contracts then think they have hand. Some do, Dybala appears to have overplayed his.According to a Juve ITK:
At first we wanted to make a swap with United, Matuidi + Mandzukic + Dybala for Lukaku + €45m. Dybala wanted €15m/yr, United offered €13m/yr so we could certainly come to an agreement. But then United found out that they couldn't exploit his image rights so they offered him €9m/yr. He refused.
United still wanted a swap, they proposed Matuidi + Mandzukic + €60m for Lukaku but we refused and the deal was over.
Then Spurs came; they offered €70m + add-ons for Dybala, we accept, Dybala accepts their €13m/yr too but then they came to know about the image rights issue too. Knowing that Dybala wouldn't accept lower wages, they tried to get smart with us. They offered a €12m loan with option (not obligation) to buy at €55m. We obviously refused and the deal was over.
Now the only option would be PSG (they'd have no problem with his fee and wages and they have an interest) but he absolutely doesn't want to go there.
Bayern are hypothetically another and he'd be ok to go there, but no deal nor talks are in place.
Imo he'll stay with us in the end. We're really struggling to sell anyone.
I think it's hilarious United are claiming they walked away from Dybala over wages, but they paid Rashford 300K per week guaranteed and he's never scored more than 10 in a season.
It's rather convenient that once Dybala was off the table that United were willing to value him at over €100m..According to a Juve ITK:

Houssem Aouar 100%, deal agreed in the January window in case of a ban.
So he’s not good enough for our team then? ;)Dybala is good enough to play for us. Massive talent, but i don't see any position for him on the pitch according to our team. No10? We have KDB. Right winger? We have Bernardo. Striker? We have Aguero. But i like him a lot.

Reminds me of a shit Benjani
Plus we have Rodri, KDB, Bernardo, Foden and maybe Zinchenko fighting for the 3 places. I know midfield is where battles are won and lost, but it'd make more sense (to me) to go for Sancho, giving us Sterling, Sancho, Mahrez, Bernardo and maybe Sane as wingers. Would free up a foreign spot for a a top CB/striker as well.Great news if true - but wonder in the context of Gundogan signing - if we need him.
