Parliament also instructed Johnson to seek an extension.

Look im not arsed if we remain right now but Parliament had better start making the law to enable that if they are insistent on it because right now, winning meaningless votes that change absolutely nothing other than the mood music isn't doing anything.

How can they make that law when Johnson has them on recess and has said he'll ignore the result of any such vote?

Go take a look at Priti Patel and her past behaviour and comments and come back to me then.
One person does not equate an entire Government.

Otherwise we can dismiss the Labour opposition for the likes of Naz Shah and her comments on the Jewish Community (which she was suspended for...then allowed back)

What policies of this current Conservative Government are far-right?

If Brussels won’t pressure Dublin on the matter then we don’t need to worry about a hard border then do we. It’s a matter between Dublin and the uk and both sides have said no border.

Jobs a good un where do we sign,....

In one sense it is and the rest will back Dublin’s play. Easy to forget but the EU is largely a club of small/medium-sized nations who are in it to amplify their presence. So for them, the implications of one of their own being thrown to the wolves are seen as more damaging than the impact of No Deal.

Dublin’s problem is that in return for this backing they also have responsibilities and no deal means inevitably a customs border. It is also London’s problem because it is a U.K. border and inevitably we too will agree to a customs border. The idea that we will just shrug and go ‘bovered’ is a fantasy. Doing nothing isn’t sustainable and London knows this. Hell they said as such in the Sunday papers.

So let’s keep it real and ditch the fantasies because the sooner we ditch them then the sooner we can start climbing out of the hole we have dug for ourselves.

They have had the last 3 fucking years to do it and nope.....fuck all has been done.

Ask yourself why?

No, there isn't. There's a mandate for leaving with a deal, which you lot have been completely unable to agree on.
Nope, there's no mandate for leaving with a deal. Parliament agreed it would not support an action that resulted in no deal, but not supporting one doesn't mean it won't happen, not unless Parliament takes actual steps to avoid it, but by doing so they are against against the electorate.

And it’s been pointed out to you why it’s an utterly bullshit reason to vote leave.

Your government has the ability and the power to control immigration and doesn’t. They could bring the vast majority of migration down to a standstill but don’t.

You shouldn’t be pointing your finger at the EU, it should be at Westminster.
And it's been explained to you how easy it is for anyone with the golden ticket, the EU passport, to flout any and all controls. Once we leave, that golden ticket will be worthless. And immigration can and hopefully will fall to sustainable levels.

.........because the deal negotiated with the EU was not acceptable to the whole of Parliament.

No, but then she's probably one of the moderate ones.

Mate, you are confusing what I am writing with being serious. It was started by the view that SNP don’t have a mandate to support Remain.
My response wasn't serious either. You've read it as such.

That's the issue with text based debate; you cannot hear the tone of voice. Maybe a smiley would have helped.

That one person is the fucking Home Sec.

Bingo , but there are more important things for our politiicans in the uk and the Europeans. They are all on holiday.

The most important thing we must do on 31/10 is bring this to an end. The least favoured option , but the default legal position is no deal.

However for the sake of compromise a new deal hopefully with more certainty/ legality on the future trade deal would be the preferred option.

There is the possibility of revocation of article 50 and that was a possibility under May but there is no way boris could do that.

They've been focused on a deal and had a prime minister who tbf to her did her best to get one? They've not had a chance to give Johnson a legally binding instruction yet.

Correct.
It will fall to sustainable levels from the EU. But that will be more than replaced by immigration from countries we try to do trade deals with around the world.

A special status to allow the GFA to survive Brexit. To allow NI the best of both worlds. The GFA gives NI special status, that's the part that the DUP don't like.
The DUP never agreed to the GFA in the first place.
Seems an added bonus to them, the stance they have taken in Brexit, that they get to ignore what was unanimously agreed in NI, the UK and Ireland.
