Var debate 2019/20

no idea where this var high bar is, but what i do know is the david silva incident is way above it, even if it makes it 161 times you say it
It’s literally nothing to do with what you or I believe.

Whatever the bar is, it wasn’t it. As have none of the penalty decisions in 30 league games this season. It’s fucking useless.

what was VAR looking at with the silva pen shout ??? both contact and movement to the players foot stone wall pen again washed over by the officials, they say VAR will be better for players and mangers and getting more right from wrong ??? clearly its still a view of somebody in a studio working for EPL and being under pressure to keep the title alive and liverpool right in there for as long as possible even at this stage of the season when every points count just like last season

i think if the pen shout was when we was 3.1 up we get the VAR review ? because of them still in the game at 1.2 down they found a reason not to give it ??? VAR is clearly not working unless you are working on the manchester city game and trying to stop city from running riot in games then it working fine

Something people keep forgetting about VAR use in the PL is why referees aren’t reviewing key decisions by themselves at the side of the pitch like they do in Europe? They’re surely much more likely to overturn their own decision if they have another look.
That's why they should review it themselves,it's better they look than some man in a van that we can't see

To be fair, I think most of the pundits are as confused as we are by the way VAR is being used. I'll be amazed if PiGMOL can continue to justify their arrogance and incompetence, when everyone can see that the PL is being devalued because of it.

You have tremendous faith in the integrity of PiGMOL homerdog .

The fuckers have been lying since their inception, so I can't see a minor problem like VAR changing their stance.

A pen or a booking, it can't be anything else.
I'm there to be convinced but 3 games in i think it's bollocks, that is a pen all-day long

So if Mike Dean had given a penalty when Kane went down VAR would back him up, and because he didn’t give a penalty they also back him up.

So why is VAR needed if they just agree with the on field referee?
Yes. They arnt changing their mates onfield decision. It would have to be something pretty fuckin serious.

I think you probably already know the answer to that .

They fucked themselves with the "high bar for intervention" by not giving the Rodri penalty and now they have nowhere left to go.
Law of unintended consequence by purposely not seeing what was in front of their eyes?

That’s a good point.

Do me a favour and fuck off.

I dont have to explain myself to you.

Lol, No, just usual abuse from posters who think.the fuckin whole world is against us. Maybe some are.

I just asked you a straight question who were paying these refs with brown envelopes?

And I've given you a straight answer.

I dont have to answer to you. Who the fuck do you think you are, my mother?

Probably people with a vested interest in seeing another team bar city win the league or keeping the title race interesting as in not letting us kick clear of the rest of the teams .

As soon as City finished I watched the brilliant last few overs of the test match. The Aussies used their final review on an LBW call. The equivalent of the VAR examined the call very quickly using the technology for all to see and explained his decision fully and transparently in a well spoken and authoritative way.

I still do not know why the clowns did not give a penalty for the foul on Silva.

What worries me is that so few of the media make any adverse comments on these decisions.

They will. It one ever goes against Liverpool or United.
