Parliament was elected with a majority against a no deal Brexit. Parliament has consistently voted against a no deal Brexit. Suspension is designed to limit their capacity to vote against a no deal Brexit. If you want Parliament to vote and agree on a Brexit option then the executive can negotiate and present one to Parliament.

If the executive cannot do so and Parliament will not accept a no deal Brexit then Parliament should be dissolved, manifestos spelling out what each party seeks in terms of Brexit and a fresh mandate sought from the people.

Parliament has consistently voted against everything and not just no deal. It hasn't been functional in any shape or form on Brexit beyond instigating it.

Parliament knew a no deal Brexit was the end state in all circumstances. We have had votes to decide on alternatives, each came up with no overall majority for any option.

The suspension in itself isn't relevant and whether Parliament sits or not is not relevant.

You can vote against no deal forever and sit and debate it for centuries but MP's and an elected Parliament have already voted for no deal, it IS law!

Johnson hasn't made no deal policy, Parliament made no deal policy 2 years ago. If people didn't like this policy then why did you elect a Tory/Labour MP to vote for it??

They did. They haven’t revoked A50. Also honouring means studying the terms of the exit carefully and choosing the best possible path out of the EU with a minimum of disruption. MPs represent their entire constituency. Not just the ones who voted Leave.

We have a good deal, I want to lose as little of it as possible. But every deal is worse than what we had.

Like many people - a lot on here - it is likely that the only thing that will make you happy is that we Remain

I really no longer give a fuck - I genuinely look forward to their lifestyle and life expectancy returning to 1970-72 levels - can't come soon enough for me so they learn some fucking home truths.

Fuck - we had a period when there were posts exulting on the fact that Leave voters will have diminished through to 'natural causes'

Do you really think that the UK are going to immediately go into a downward health spiral and the average life expectancy drops considerably?
