That's the Liverpool fan off 90min. Utterly deluded, I think he left the show in a sulk last season. He hasn't been on since they all roasted him for making out refs were against Liverpool while helping City. Not agreeing that refs were helping them is one thing but to convince yourself that City were given more decisions than Liverpool is... well it's Liverpool fans for you.

It doesn't help that some of them are journalists who feed into it. I was quoted this study by a Liverpool fan, from "respected analysts" GentingBet:

https://www.givemesport.com/1496045...er-league-last-season-if-var-was-in-operation
GentingBet analysed all 380 Premier League matches last season and, using the new rules in place for the 2019/20 season in regards to handballs, declared that Liverpool would have won the title with the use of VAR.

The crucial moment came in City’s 1-0 win against Tottenham at the Etihad in April. Kyle Walker handled the ball in the penalty area and VAR would have awarded a penalty to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

That quote makes it sound like they just focused on handballs in particular but it then goes on to talk about offsides and fouls in the box. So out of all the games City and Liverpool played last season, that's the only mistake that was made, that VAR should have rectified? Riiight...

Billy Sharp, Head of Sportsbook at GentingBet said: “It’ll be interesting to see how the introduction of the Premier League’s new rules affects this season’s competition.
It would be more interesting, to see by whom and how much you were paid to "research" ways in which Liverpool could have won it, Billy. It reminds me of the ESPN luck index, when they finished 4th behind Spurs and United. "Liverpool the unluckiest team in the PL".

Someone would should do a proper 2018/19 league table with VAR. If we are not careful they will revise history with fluff pieces like this. All so dippers in 10 years time or more can say they were robbed, when it was the opposite if anything.

Klopp’s reaction to TAA’s goal being put down as an own goal was fucking bizarre. The mark definitely slipped.

About 35 seconds in:

What a ****!

Loved Klopp at Dortmund, and the way he stood up against Bayern, but he does seem a bit much tbf.

But can't be bothered. He is, what he is..

Just glad Pep is running our club.
