VVD couldn’t keep up with Sane. iirc, last pre season Leroy went past him and scored. Then last season in the league, Leroy skinned him again, Van Dijk brought him down in the box and no penalty was given as usual.

What a pathetic rag that poor excuse for a "newspaper" is!

This isn't the first time that rag has spat it's dummy out about those chants either. If I'm not mistaken, they raised it when Wolves played Liverpool last season too. Fuck me, I don't ever see the MEN complaining about all the anti-Manc chants that get aired when teams - in particular the Merseyside clubs - play us and United. As for this:

Therein lies the irony. Wolves’ current captain is also a Scouser - the humble, the decent and the very likeable Conor Coady.

Quite what he might have made of those chants is unrecorded.

Which is perhaps for the best.

I suspect Conor Coady doesn't give a flying fuck because he sees it exactly for what it is - a bit of fan banter. Fucking mard arse twats

Penalty was given and Mahrez hit it into outer space (maybe you are referring to a separate incident)?

Wouldn't be too sure about that, he is a scouser...

Sly Sports News.

John Barnes has spoken.

It’s Liverpool’s year after 4 games.

John said the same last season.

John aside.

4 games in and Sly Sports News just had to track down John to ask him about
Liverpool’s 100% start.

I don’t remember Sly Sports News doing something similar with an ex-City player after City won four games on the run, let alone winning 18 games on the run.

Certainly wont be inviting buzzer back

Rousing The KOP.

I knew what was coming. After all it’s a Littlewoods fan website.

I’ll copy and paste it to a point. The rest of the article carries on in the same narrative about why Klopp should win the best coach award.

And you wonder why their support is hated so much.

Why Klopp deserves best coach award

The shortlist is in: Jürgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino are in line for the world’s top individual prize for managers. Of course, we all know that Klopp deserves the FIFA Best Coach Award.

The German led his team to a Champions League title in June, the culmination of an historic European campaign. Liverpool’s continental success followed one of the greatest title races of all time, with Jürgen and his men somehow missing out on glory despite amassing 97 points and losing just once.

Pochettino had a season to remember in North London, defying all the odds to reach the Champions League final in Madrid despite making no summer signings. The Tottenham boss was tactically on point throughout the tournament, dumping out the exuberant Borussia Dortmund and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat away to Ajax.

Guardiola did what City do, he spent a lot of money and won a lot of trophies.

It's the oldest trick in the book ;- Praise highly the team you have beaten for the trophy and really you're just praising yourself.
