That 6-1 would of nearly killed him. Mind you, The 1-0 at home that season too was complete dominance, Dont think they got a shot on target that night from what I can recall.

They didn’t have a shot on target that night but of course when Fergie set up to defend and parked the bus - the media badged it a “European type performance” !

Steady now , the dippers have the patent on European Royalty remember .

You wouldn't have thought so by the way the despotic çunt recalled it in his 'memoirs'. Something about them 'being all over us' wasn't it?

I get the feeling you don’t like the Govan pisscan very much.

I can’t quite put my finger on why, but I sense there is a little ill will towards the twat.

I'm a bitter, resentful, sour old bastard with a permanent grimace etched into my antiquated face, so as far as I'm concerned the rags never won anything - they had everything given to them.
Money, corruption, managerial eunuchs in the opposition dugout: a combination that Gill and that subhuman Glaswegian gargoyle took swift advantage of in order to dominate the Premier league whilst it was still in its infancy.

Never, all the while my vital organs are functioning correctly, will I afford that bastard excuse for a club even a soupçon of respect.
Beautifully succinct post Blue.

Accurate, passionate and very relatable.

And another expose of a long list of Ferguson bullshit. Man U never play for a draw. Well they did that night and got bit on the arse big time!

I was in a very red pub for that.
It was a joy to see the looks on their faces at the end (after witnessing no meaningful attacks by them)... the realisation that that, on top of the 1-6, was the end of their easy procession of the previous 20 years.

It was obvious, after so long, they had no idea how to deal with it.

... as did their club it transpired :-)

Still got no idea how to deal with it.

If they had the balls they'd appoint Sam Allardyce. Let's face it he always played Ferguson's tactics of launch it from the back when closed down, gather it midfield and spread it to the wings if previous launch didn't stretch far enough to the forwards in the first place, oh thank you alex, make mine a large one if you please. The Man Utd way. Their fans haven't the honesty or intelligence to admit that was the Man Utd way and are now stuck with a mantra spouting buffoon.

They are terrible. They are absolutely terrible. I've watched them a few times under OGS this season and shortly after the referee blows the first whistle the whole team look bereft of ideas and frightened despite their transfer fees. No wonder lurking sad rags spend all of their time on the media thread stating there is no agenda, it's their sole sad satisfaction they can attain, sad fuckers.
