Thanks for this.So many unknowns in all this. I doubt whether anyone, possibly other than Pinto, will admit to having seen the entirety of the leaks and they would never, ever be made available to third parties officially, so I think we'll never have the dirt on other clubs.
Which leaves the limited leaks that Pinto made available to DS as the only matters which are in the public domain. I expect that UEFA will argue those (relatively) few documents relating to City were sufficient to justify an enquiry. We can argue til we're blue in the face that it's unfair as there must have been other stuff on other clubs but I'm not sure that argument would get us very far in the absence of the stolen material.
So it will come down to, firstly, whether due process has been followed by UEFA and, secondly, whether we could provide sufficient evidence to show that those emails were taken out of context and we didn't mislead investigators. I'm confident on the former but not so much on the latter but, like everyone else, I'm guessing.
I am confident that Mr K and our owners have enough contacts to have gathered evidence of their enemies either via the same leaks or elsewhere for all of them to be fearful.Well there is one obvious source for the leaks attacking City from the heart of the UEFA investigations committee and the smear campaign we have seen in the UK media and I think Khaldoon knows exactly who this is. This is another good reason for UEFA to avoid taking action against City. The UEFA officials have too much to lose personally in any ongoing court battle.
There was lots of stuff in the Der Spiegel coverage including details of the Ronaldo rape case, Mourhino's tax avoidance issues, and salary details for lots of players, but the British press focused heavily on vague seven-year-old emails to City officials about a FFP probe for which we had already been punished. Mourhino got a suspended jail sentence and was fined £2m for tax fraud just seven months ago but it got very little press in the UK.Thanks for this.
As you say ‘so many unknowns’
I still find it bizarre that the only leaks to DS concerned solely City and apparently no-one else, unless there were, but they were deemed insufficient to warrant investigation. I’m not a betting man but I wonder what the odds would be.
Also, I’m no lawyer but I wonder if it isn’t possible for the court dealing with pinto and his nefarious activities to subpoena the evidence which everyone knows exists, both from him and DS.

Worth remembering that the outstanding appeal to CAS does not preclude UEFA from concluding their case. Not scheduled yet. List up to mid November

UEFA, with the cartel breathing down their necks and knowing that they have very little chance of finding City guilty on the available evidence, deliberately sabotage their own investigations by breaching procedural practices,Worth remembering that the outstanding appeal to CAS does not preclude UEFA from concluding their case.
There's also lots of stuff on Portuguese courts and police communications that we know of. DS claim to have had access to only a portion of the data but it makes me wonder whether it was purely random what they received and what was the breadth of that information. If not random then who requested information on certain parties? There was lots of stuff in the Der Spiegel coverage including details of the Ronaldo rape case, Mourhino's tax avoidance issues, and salary details for lots of players, but the British press focused heavily on vague seven-year-old emails to City officials about a FFP probe for which we had already been punished. Entirely possible, which is why I have urged City to publish their file of evidence when the case is complete.UEFA, with the cartel breathing down their necks and knowing that they have very little chance of finding City guilty on the available evidence, deliberately sabotage their own investigations by breaching procedural practices,
They eventually announce that City are as guilty as it’s possible to be ever, in the history of guilty things!
CAS throw the case out for breaches of procedural practices.
UEFA shrug their shoulders and say ‘we did our best, they’re guilty but got off on a technicality’
Case closed- and City have the stain of not being completely exonerated and still very guilty in the eyes of the media and other fans.
Job done uefa.
Or am I completely mistaken?
I very much doubt. Our owners would settle for that.complete the opposite Nothing less that completely EXONERATED.& a full statement explaining no wrong doing..UEFA, with the cartel breathing down their necks and knowing that they have very little chance of finding City guilty on the available evidence, deliberately sabotage their own investigations by breaching procedural practices,

I doubt City are going to take a climbdown of such proportions without wanting a full exoneration.
I'm intrigued ifc Uefa thought they had such an open and shut case why the upper chamber hasn't made a decision. We were led to believe by leaked reports that our guilt was practically decided. Why the enormous delay then if our appeal to CAS doesn't preclude the decision making process of the Adjuctory Chamber.
It all seems a bit odd. Even the Media have gone quiet.
I trust in the big man Khaldoon. They will never get that. What happens when UEFA refuse to exonerate the club ? we go to court ? which one and that would just give the press even more ammo to shoot at us. I actually, as I have just posted, think Bodicot has got it about right.
Definitely go to the courts in Scotland they will agree with anything! They will never get that.
