Who said all? 62% is a hefty indication but it’s not all. We have idiots here too, as you pointed out, at least 1m.

Basically if you want a deep and comprehensive FTA with the EU then you accept their rules and standards. The more rules you accept, the more comprehensive the FTA can be. If you want something like Japan then it will be relatively shallow. Our problem is that we are 22 miles from the EU. Include NI and we share a border so a shallow FTA won’t really cut it.

We can leave the EU but we will never escape it’s regulatory pull or resist its ability to shape our economy.

Anything to reduce compliance with GDPR is fine with me. Rules and regulation gone mad. If it ain’t broke...

What makes you think that the will of the people isn't being respected. Successive governments have been trying to respect the will of the people for 3 years and their various attempts have been rejected just as much by Leavers as by Remainers. If the will of the people wasn't being respected the government would have fucked the whole thing off years ago and would have justified it by the clearly flawed process that contributed to the result. Everyone would have been over it by now and The Sun and Mail would be back to moaning about straight bananas and half litres of beer that we would be forced to endure.

Seems the Tories by way of Guido Fawkes found the guys FB page and he is a Labour supporter - they claim therefore its all a plant.

Yeah course it is - the **** arranged for his daughter to be seriously ill in hospital just so he could harangue Johnson.

1, rationale leavers, those that understand the issues (or some of the issues) but also want to respect the vote. They will want a compromise to minimise the damage and accept only a soft form of brexit will work.
2, ardent leavers, those unwilling to listen to any evidenced based assessment of the implications and want the simplest extraction of ourselves from the EU irrespective of the consequences.

The problem is that there is not the political will to drive either forward as they are very very different outcomes. Neither is sustainable and neither has any competent political force driving it.

Maybe if reality has bit Johnson, about a better deal, he's left with resigning, going to jail, or asking for an extension. He can't command a GE, and if he has failed to get us out by 31st October what is his least worst option?

"If I resign the only option for a new PM might be Corbyn and his only option in league with other parties might be another referendum with a choice between a soft Brexit and Remain. So if I propose a referendum between No Deal and Remain the Remainers would take a chance on voting for that. Whatever the result, how long could I still be PM?"

so thats it - peak Brexit peak Tory. A man has a go at Johnson - man is at a hospital because his child is seriously ill. He also happens to be a Labour supporter. What do those Peaky zealots do? Discount the sick child and call it a stitch up...............disgusting politics lower than a snakes belly. I bet none of the Peaky's would let a Corbyn visit to wherever they were pass without comment.
