Are you going to come on here November 1st and admit what a twat you’ve been if we’re still in?
What the fuck has that question got to do with the post to which you are replying

Clue: fuck all

I do not expect us to Leave at all - and have said so many times.

So why would I do what you suggest? It will have been because of Remainer actions at Westminster anyway - just silliness

Why not breathe - or better still think - before replying to posts

...Oh, and don’t believe anybody who blathers on about regaining sovereignty. They are spouting shite about things they don’t understand.
It's interesting that you think your understanding of sovereignty is superior to all those who believe retaining the power of the population to govern themselves is the single most important benefit of Brexit. I think it confirms the truth of your final assertion but only with respect to yourself.

No you’ve said Johnson’s tactics will get us a deal and you have done all along.

This constant “you don’t know about negotiating”, “you don’t understand” when every one of your claims haven’t happened is hilarious.

If it does get us a deal?

What will you do?

We’ve got a leave PM now you half wit, and guess what? He’s got fucking nowhere, as David Davis did, as Dominic Raab did.

Ok - I will leave it there - you are just on your campaign to cause arguments on the thread - you do it a lot. I am not going to indulge you.

I suggest that you and your colleague stop being at the centre of the majority of arguments that take place on these threads - eventually this made get noticed.

For other posters this little exchange resulted from me posting that the last 3 years have been spent:

".....accomplishing May's WA which - for a Leave Supporter - is worse than Remaining

It is a Remain WA and it is Leavers that have been wholly ignored"

So the fact that Johnson has been made PM months after May's WA was defeated in parliament is irrelevant.

Come on here and say-

“I’m absolutely delighted, we’ve made a way through and I’m a giant twat on a stick”.

I’ll tag you, mcfc1632, metal biker, hilts, smudgey or whatever he’s called, chuchlawton, the whole gang etc. etc.

Nope not me.
It did get removed though.
I'm guessing you didn't see it or maybe you thought it was fine to joke about a poster's relative's serious medical condition.

What, the same poster who could've been banned a dozen times over for his incessant vitriolic attacks on anyone who dared to vote differently to him in the referendum? Who does the same on numerous other threads not related to this one and has done since long before you became a member? Who regularly talks down to posters in a condescending manner and has often acted like he owns this forum?

That comment of George's was indeed unpalatable, but considering the poster stated something completely contradictory to that the other week (that a hard Brexit might actually see him better off), it makes you wonder what he's playing at.

Hahaha the man arguing with about 8 different posters asking me not to cause arguments and be the centre of the thread.

You were saying Johnson threatening no deal will get us a deal. Now you’re furiously backtracking like a rat up a drain pipe.

You never know - he might pull something off in Aguerrrroooooooo time. Granted, the clock is running down and the noises aren't great from the EU side but I can't help thinking there might just be that little bit more going on behind the scenes that we're not aware of

That’s called hope mate.

The only escape for Johnson, and to avoid dying in the ditch that is a further extension to A50, is a deal and to leave on 31st Oct. To do a deal Johnson has to go back to the WA and do something on the backstop which currently means leaning on DUP/Unionists to be ‘a bit’ more flexible (and by a bit I mean ‘a lot’) and Arlene is being a bit more flexible but Arlene has also pointed out the obvious. Any NI solution has to have the consent of the Unionists and the Nationalists. Right now the backstop, in any form, doesn’t have the consent of the Unionists and no other proposed solution other than regulatory alignment with the EU has the consent of the Nationalists.

So we have 45 days to get Nationalists and Unionists in NI on the same page and to make common ground. That is in effect what you are pinning your hopes on.

Good luck.

Not everyone can be an uber City fan like you. I mean, it must take a lot of effort to always write the word City in capitals.
CITY in capitals - why is that a concern for you?

That is how I feel about CITY and have done for very many years - seems a strange thing to use to try and demean someone on a CITY forum.

Anyway - like your tag partner, I see what you are doing here - crack-on

In an attempt to hope that you will learn to discuss rather than continue to demean/provoke - I have said very many times versions of:

"We will not see movement from the EU unless and until they are faced with a viable Walk-Away (No-Deal) option and the political will to use it.

If you care to search you will also see that I have said quite a few times versions of - but that does not guarantee......

What you say/suggest here is twisting and fabrication - please just stop wanting to cause arguments all the time

Can you please link what must be very many polls that clearly display that a significant majority of English voters wish to Remain

Remember - to use your words - every poll for over a year

I know ;)

That assumes Johnson did vote Leave.

Well yeah good point.

Cameron confirmed yesterday that when he questioned the danger in him pushing for leave when he’s really a remainer, Johnson replied that Brexit would be dead in a ditch within two weeks of campaigning.
