I watched it as well and i dont make you swear, you do that all by yourself.

We all want a deal. No deal is off the table because parliament has made it so.

Time to get a deal agreed and put through parliament where we will see just how much those opposed to no deal will agree to one to stop such an occurrence?

I don't want a deal, I want it fucked off.

I will reluctantly accept a deal, which will be the exact one which May's team negotiated, if it happens.

Will I forgive being fucked about for years in order to sign up to a deal which was already agreed ? FUCKING NO.

Do I think it will happen ? No.

There won’t be a deal. There will never be a deal. We can’t accept a deal because a deal will be on the EU’s terms and that is something we cannot process. Time to accept that and try and figure out what the hell we do next.

Are you suggesting that MPs should accept any deal put to them, regardless of its merits, just to prevent a no deal scenario?!

Think he’s suggesting any deal to prevent any chance of another referendum or no brexit. A bad deal no matter how bad is better than no Brexit for him.

Are the EU perfect and without blame? No I think that's obvious to all which is why even it's biggest of supporters believe that some reforms are needed, I would not disagree with that.

However we are far more guilty in that department than other European states, the problem will only be exacerbated if we completely cut ties with the EU which is in my own opinion (it could be wrong I admit) is why much of the erg appear to be desperate to leave without a deal of any kind.

Exactly .... Rees Moggs company has made £103 million in profit in the last 5 years (i think - but it might be 3) and paid ZERO in tax in the UK .... Wonder why he wants to exit the EU?

The nation voted to leave the EU and politicians promised to honour that choice.

We all want a deal that enables that.

Or do we?

Do you want a deal Ric?

For all the talk of merits, we can all agree that no deal has no merits other than us leaving.

We know and you’re not alone in this thread.

I’ve little interest in discussing it with you because of it and certainly have no reason to compromise.

Oh please.

For one thing I don't want you to compromise, as you are not an MP.

Two, you wouldn't & won't 'compromise' if the country was made into another state of the US, so long as you got your Brexit.

And for another, you aint getting 'your Brexit' you are either getting one you don't want, or nothing, because, as you keep pointing out; it didn't specify on the ballot paper.

You were conned & you will have whatever the fuck they decide to give you, which will be different, to what many of the other Brexiteers voted for & different to what many of the other other Brexiteers voted for, as many of you have no more in common with each other, than you do with me.

Such anger...all the time along with some sweeping generalisations that might make you sleep better at night or more comfortable with your own opinion but are well, just plain wrong.

Which bit’s wrong?
You don’t appear bothered about what deal we get however shite, as long as we get one.

I've consistently said we will get a deal with a compromise on the Irish border question and that it will be along the lines of trusted trader, checks away from the border and the talk now is of a compromise that treats the whole of Ireland the same for food and agriculture.

I am good with that.

How many of those so opposed to a no deal brexit will be?

I have actually read what you have posted on here.

You have never had the slightest interest in 'compromising' on anything & your attitude to anyone who doesn't agree with it all, & feels they are being dragged into a disaster, is basically 'tough shit'. That's fair enough if that's how you feel, but please don't complain when others, on the other side feel the same.

Incidentally, you earlier edited out the bit where I said 'I will reluctantly accept a deal, which will be the exact one which May's team negotiated, if it happens'. I can only presume, in order to give you some excuse to flounce.

That isn't you compromising, that's you telling the Irish to compromise.

I am not telling them anything but if they want to avoid no deal then compromise they will have to.

Same with the EU.

Same with us.

Same with the ERG.

Same with remain MP's and parties.
