Good. It was always obvious Johnson prorogued to try and stop any discussions that might stop him leading the country out of the EU and into chaos.

Brexit is a shambles from the start; initially both sides blatantly lied and misled the voters, particularly the leave element. Now everyone has seen what an utter fucking shitshow the whole debacle is I bet if we had another referendum now people have more understanding of what it actually means to leave the EU then the vote would be remain by a large margin.

It was unfair of the government to have that referendum when so many people had almost no idea what they were really voting for, other than change for change's sake.

And what a bloody waste of time it's all been, MPs should be trying to run the country better, not constantly having to discuss something that is clearly unworkable and hugely negative to UK industry, science and finance.

Most people are clueless on what’s going on and are just bored of Brexit. They’ll want no more of it and want to ‘finish’ the job. I think leave will still win unless a clear message can be delivered to all walks of life.

I would say that we have taken back control and protected our sovereignty today , no interference from Europe, just British judges upholding British law , so no idea why leavers are so upset .

What sovereignty have we currently got though because remain opposition has basically ensured we have a paralysed parliament unable to do anything other than to stop brexit and they will neither call a vote of no confidence or agree to a general election.

Not at all. I want people who will improve the country and for those who have to carry out these jobs to be paid a wage that reflects their necessity and gives people a decent life. People working hard in jobs that haven't the wow factor deserve a living wage well above the poverty level they are now. This can be achieved by securing corporate and personal tax that is avoided. Cutting expenditure on trident and getti g that to fuck and investing more in sustainable development and energy. It also depends for us to stay in our largest market and use all the turmoil to see that the EU does more to redistribute wealth and protects the people within it. We will never get anywhere near that under the Tories and their big business pals.

Gove was right, except he assumed the executive would hold all the cards and never imagined it might be the legislature, and when he stated "we can choose the path we want" he didn't factor in the possibility that might mean turning back.

Im.not bitter at all. I just wish he had adopted those things years ago. That's my problem. Poo pooing what we were trying g to do for years then at a stroke adopting them. Better late than never but I was a member of the labour party once. I didn't leave it because it was doing these things, rather by them trying to be Tories to appeal to middle England.

Middle England accounts for 10x the population of Sweatyland and will be where the election is won or lost.
