Or maybe "swap shopper"?I think he meant "shop shopper" or, possibly "slop slopper".

If De Gea is the worlds best ( he's just a stop stopper) why would you sign a new contract at utd ? Apart from lack of ambition and a big pay cheque.
You would want to go to a big club and win things, but I guess if no big clubs are after you why not sign a new big contract. Than again if no big clubs are after you, why did utd offer such a big contract lol
He does have nice legs :OHe stops shots cos so many opponents shoot at his legs, for some reason.

Well even then, good luck keeping Pogba. I wonder if they told De Gea about this before he signed his new deal. Oh Dave, by the way, we're still going to be shit for 3 of these 5 years.
I find it slightly strange they blame Woodward, or more accurately why they blame him. The chap is for filling his duties that he was hired for. I wonder do reds actually believe the Glazer's are pissed off with him? They are not stupid, they know full well the model they have and what it would do to the club on the pitch. You can't blame the bloke who is doing his job well. He is simply executing the Glazer's orders really. He will run his ideas past them, they give the nod, i assume with reasonable confidence.
I may be wrong but i doubt it is to far from "keep utd a healthy attraction for sponsors, make us lots of money" coming from the Glazer's direction. That said, it is not hard, just show sponsors how many chans in the world utd air on and the amount of people who will see their noodles advertised. Their attractiveness is largely still an effect from when they were successful, an 'easy sell' so to speak.
I can see that starting to drop off a fair bit this very season though. As we know, there is no sentiment in business, companies will drop them like a hot rock and look for more attractive vehicles to promote their wares. They have been a stocking filler of a team for to long now, the bounce back companies will have hoped for is just that now, a hope.
As fun as it is to laugh at Woodward, their anger and frustration is misguided. Long live the Glazer's business interest in Utd!
Take comfort in the fact that Fergie is sat on the sidelines watching this shit show play out.

Still winning trophies off the pitch.
Manchester United enjoyed a record year despite the club’s ongoing problems on the pitch. The club announced financial results for the 2019 fiscal fourth quarter and twelve months ended 30 June 2019. The club had record revenues of £627m last year an increase of 6.3%. But the Old Trafford outfit warned that revenues are likely to fall next year due to the lack of Champions League football. The club had pre-tax profits of £27.5m up form £25.8m despite a campaign which saw them fail to qualify for the lucrative Champion...
It is a good point, an angle the Glazer's are seemingly blind to, at least to a degree. Eventually though if Woodward is not the ultimate boss, you have to look at who is and why they do not act. You could say he is pulling the wool over the Glazer's eyes in some ways. Before the figures released with the shareholders stuff were announced i thought everything was looking rosy, financially, for them. That said they are selling some shares i believe with no voice on the board to fix that cash flow issue.Woodward’s given each appointee a shit load of money. Which they have spunked in order to keep moving in reverse.
Could be a big upset tomorrow night. Utd might win.
Genuine question. Why isn’t baconface (don’t call him Fergie, please) advising them on the strategic football side?
Or maybe he is/has and has just lost the plot.
Well he’s certainly been caught thieving doughnuts from shopsI think he meant "shop shopper" or, possibly "slop slopper".
The day to day stuff isn’t quite what I meant. Despite not being on the board, I would have expected him to be performing a de facto part time Director of Football role, and certainly be advising Woodwoodwoodwood on managerial appointments. Can you see him sitting in the stands as an uninvolved observer?I’ve wondered this as well. I could see LVG and Jose ignoring him, but you’d think Moyes and Ole wouldn’t have as huge egos. Seems either he’s out of it or he’s out of it.
