Can I call you Stevie, Stevie?
Obviously I missed the joke, I thought it was a play on my username...
Can I call you Stevie, Stevie?
Got to be honest I’ve always read it as star fish, as for the other, I might as well say if we’d won all games, we didn’t that’s why it’s a 38 game season, no point into going into what if’s it’s pointless.Obviously I missed the joke, I thought it was a play on my username...
Well I did state if Liverpool had turned one draw into a win and all other results being equal....
I'm not denigrating Peps achievement last year across all competitions. I've said that he deserved FIFA's manager of the year (even if I think its a meaningless media driven title as others have suggested).
But in my hypothetical Klopp would have won both CL and PL in same season. I'm honestly curious why some would still not consider that sufficient?
"Back on their Perch".
The arogance of that club, it's officials, fans and ex players is staggering.
Just as a matter of interest, if Liverpool had turned 1 of their draws into a win, and pipped City to the title last year, would that mean that City fans would agree with Klopp being Manager of the year? (all other results being equal)
I actually agree that it should have been Pep, but the difference (in terms of titles) is effectively the lack of a single goal in a crucial match.
Obviously this is entirely a hypothetical as this didn't happen, but I'm curious whether it would have changed opinions.
If you have supported your team for 33 years you must know who Stevie Starfish is and why he's got that moniker !Obviously I missed the joke, I thought it was a play on my username...
Not for me. One result either way isn't really a reflection of the managers, neither was playing (or officiating) for a start.
Just for balance, if Liverpool had gone out of the CL against Barca (eg no Origi goal), it wouldn't affect my opinion either.
I can never understand pundits who say things like "he can't be considered a great player until he's won (insert name of relevant comp...)". Plenty of fantastic players won little or even zero, so for me trophies are an indicator, not a measure.
BTW, I read you're username as 'starfish' first time and thought wtf?
Domestic obviouslyall?

Yes they do,they believe their own hype, they are a dizzy lot, t shirts at the readyObviously liverpool fc as a whole don't think they're back on their perch, regardless off what that idiot said.
Bastard when them pesky facts get in the way of your cheeky, chirpy internet persona isn't it? ; )It's all them pesky facts, they don't like them

Who we talkin' about, do you know? Give you a clue - he once slipped on his arse and apparently gave the ball to a chap called Demba Baa!!I realise that now, but my first reaction was just that it was a play on my username

Guess I can only speak for myself then
So why do you say you're a Southampton fan if your one of the Liverpool fans?
Fwiw, I don't care who you support as long as you're here to talk football and not wum, but you need to be honest or you'll deserve the abuse you'll get.
Oh, and no, of course they don't all believe the bullshit.
Are you coming up for the cup game or league game at the Etihad? In that last quote I was referring to lfc fans I've encountered not speaking as one. I didnt word that well. I am a Southampton fan
