But will it make any difference?

I watched as much Boris as I could stomach today, he's clearly playing this game for a reason, he's pandering to his core, as was the Attorney General this morning, and most importantly he's keeping the Brexit party at bay.

He needs every leaver in the country to vote Tory and that means demonising Parliament as a nest of remaining traitors, so he'll rough them up for the camera all day and every day.

So the oppositin have met and have some plan if necessary set up for a temporary unity government with jezza as PM for a few weeks.

Seems her liking for tory governments goes past the coalition days

Not sure if a unity government is the way to go anyway as the Right will just use it wind up Brexiteers and the rest of the motley crew.

The idea is it's formed, gets an extention, calls a GE and then the people decide.

I think in that scenario Corbyn loses as Brexiteers will not have had their brexit.

I actually think if Johnson cobbles together some sort of exit and then calls an election, counter intuitively perhaps, I think he loses.

I´ll explain. We are out of the EU. A lot of Brexiteers who normally vote Labour will return and Johnson may find like Churchill in 1946 that he has served his purpose and people just want to move on with something different.

You’re correct of course I remember a while back a bluemoon poster actually wished death on someone, anyway as a peaceful bloke I thought it was a bit over the top but those words affected me, I spent a week wandering round town looking for a bluemoon poster to attack(I think it’s called the Liam Neeson syndrome). Luckily I couldn’t find one but I suspect the guy giving out tenners to dead heads may have been Rascal but I couldn’t be sure as he was sober.

So we have to be careful Blue I agree but sometimes also accept people say things they don’t mean or haven’t thought how it will be used for cheap point scoring.

Can’t remember the posters name now though. If he came on here overstating Johnson’s words because he is politically opposed to him it might ring a bell. But no one has the brass neck to be that hypocritical.

What was his bloody name? Never mind it’s really not that important.

I have absolutely no reason to believe so but I don’t see the relevance tbh. Unless you can read Johnson’s mind which is a scary thought.

Do you honestly think the pm's manner of speech in one day in the commons has caused these death threats? I find this almost as laughable a concept as the thought that the thugs making the threats spent the day glued to the parliament channel or listening to the session on R4 in the afternoon. I'm not defending Boris and his quite deliberate use of emotive language btw, just find it amazing that none of the MP's thus threatened seem to have considered that they may have fuelled this fire of hatred with their own speech and actions.

I don’t remember too many of these delicate little remainers or as per usual mainly labour voters slamming their own side or fellow posters when Certain language is used and it is a lot worse than surrender or bloody humbug.
