It’s not politically motivated at all though. You know the labour controlled London mayors office referring it to the police the weekend before the Tory conference. Releasing the referral to the press the same time as telling the prime minister. It’s just a coincidence that they found the evidence on Friday.

I blame Boris and his like of bubbly blondes .
However, this and it’s timing is politically motivated.

Where was this investment before when people were dying?
Johnson’s got no mandate, hasn’t lack of support in his own party and the public will turn on him for his reprehensible behaviour.
He’s going to through money at stuff for popularity causes. It isn’t his ideological view to do so like Corbyn’s, who believes in properly funded public services, so he’s going to chuck it at headline winners.
He’s also waiting to do it, waiting until there’s an election date.
It’s the desperate attempt of a broken man.
