Does anybody really give a fuck about a record about how many games either of us have won in a row or whether it’s over one season or two? Who fucking cares, the only things I’m arsed about are Liverpool winning trophies. Obviously winning games helps with that, but all this thing for us the other week winning 15 and scoring at least two - load of shite. Three points is three points, sometimes you get them, sometimes you don’t.

Agreed. Winning 20 in a row means nothing if there is not a PL trophy at the end of the season.

Exactly. When this lot won the league the other year, people will look back and remember they won 18 in a row that year. Nobody would remember us doing 20 or 21 if we didn’t win. One game at a time, that’s all you can do.
 
Saw one of their dickheads shouting the City coach today out of his car window. Dum fucks. The Evertonians were great before and after as they are real supporters.

Go and ask Sterling that after his injury time screamer! And the players. Especially Mendy, hopping half the length of the pitch with a f***ed up knee.

Or what about Pep, the coaching staff, Jesus, and the team, when City reached 100 points at Southampton.

Of course it matters.

That’s what records are for, in any sport.

It means you are the best. You have achieved something no other sports person or team has achieved. And you have bettered the previous record.

You’ve just proved my point exactly. Everything you’re talking about there happened in a season when you won. Last year we set a record for the most number of points for a runner up. Means absolutely nothing in the main. That doesn’t detract from your achievement though with the 100 points for example, that’s a superb feat worthy of pride.

Real Madrid have won it 13 times. 7 times more than Liverpool have.

How many times have Liverpool won the PL? 0!

Never mind Mr 6x’s. That’s the trophy you and every Liverpool fan desperately wants.

It’s all relative though, isn’t it? Where were you lot until the Middle East rocked up? That’s what football’s about - the right people in the right place at the right time. You only have to look at Leicester the other year to see what can happen in a perfect storm.

I want us to win the league, of course I do. I’m old enough to have seen us win it and we’ve got a great chance this year. But winning the European Cup is like nothing else. And Madrid is hardly perspective, look at the other perceived heavyweights in the European standings. Only Milan in front of us, another club steeped in EC history. Every elite club in Europe gears their season towards the CL, us and you included. I want that league badly but I’d be just as happy if we won the CL again. Nothing like it.

I don’t get you? What am I supposed to be bitter about? The point I’m making is that things happen - Shankly came to us and totally transformed the club. The Sheikh came in and did the same. I’m not arsed about the money side of it, that’s not the point at all.

Exactly the same place you were before the Moores family bank rolled your club in the 60's & 70's , before the Littlewoods investment you were a nothing club , and exactly where your over hyped football club has been for the last fifteen years , its all relative isnt it ? Enjoy your day in the sun and dont forget the sunglasses , you need to be careful after fifteen years living under a rock.
