The only difference is I know this is true where some pretend that only half of it is.

Dishonest people supporting dishonest leaders while mud slinging at dishonest oppositions.

Whatever party we get next time it will be fully deserved for some of you.

(2) Yes, a detailed account. She gave specific details of the incident, including what the occasion was, when and where the assault happened and who she spoke to about it. I’ll await hearing about the time you groped a woman’s leg 20 years ago from the complainant herself before I make up my mind whether I believe her.

(3) What happens as a result of this complaint remains to be seen. I asked if you personally believed it and you dodged the question.

I am no fan of Johnson but even I am stunned by the interview I have just heard of his with Nick Ferrari on LBC.

It was one of the most incoherent rambling interviews I have ever heard, it made my ears hurt. As usual he didn't answer a single question and just blustered aimlessly on and on about nothing in particular. If you had told me he had taken magic mushrooms beforehand I would have said, yeah that's about right.

Much of his support is visceral, so his obfuscation is immaterial.

"Get Brexit done", "surrender bill", "betrayal", these are not just slogans, they are stop signs, nothing goes beyond them.

Every accusation of impropriety is politically motivated, anyone attempting to stop hard Brexit is a closet remainer. There is no question that Johnson refuses to acknowledge (he goes beyond not answering them) that does not have an ulterior motive and that motive is to frustrate the will of the British people, a will that is now the exclusive property of Boris Johnson.

Will it work? It might.

Johnson projects himself as an intelligent, educated, articulate, politician of conviction! He's the genuine jocular voice of the people! And while on one level I suspect he knows otherwise, increasingly he's now lost in this fantasy. He's visibly aging before our eyes, worn down by the effort of maintaining this act, drowning in the complexity and contradictions of his position.

Just as Trump has constructed this successful business man, art of the deal, smart guy lie, which conceals his venality and profound stupidity, Johnson has done likewise.

But Johnson is now trapped by those lies. Lies, that have until now, kept his mask from slipping and exposing him as the duplicitous fool he clearly is.

Both Trump and Johnson are fucked, we now wait to see how badly they'll fuck us up in the process of their own disintegration.

Very badly by the look of it....

1) never said it was your word

2) a detailed account ie she was at the same place at the same time as someone she worked with, literally pointless argument from yourself. In the context of this story it’s pretty meaningless, unless you think if you can prove you were in the same room as someone that must mean you cannot be lying.

3) I didn’t dodge the question, do I believe Johnson sexually abused a woman 20 years ago.? I could I even possibly now.

The result Of this remains to be seen? Probably best putting the pitchfork away until you have anything apart from your bias to go on.

ably aided and abetted by Nick Robinson on Radio 4 this morning - an "interview" that was like a Tory Party Political Broadcast - still given Robinsons history in the Tory party and that with Johnson it shouldn't be a surprise.
