I reckon that FFP is great for meaning clubs actually have to live within whatever means they have, but there’s a strong case too that it’s there to keep certain doors locked.

"Their means" have been something that has constantly been chipped away at by a cartel including your club to the point that it's impossible for anyone else to compete (at least beyond the odd freak season). Let's have a recap of all of the things that have happened over the past 40 years to protect the position of the top clubs, all with the express backing of your club.

1. Allowing clubs to keep 100% of their home takings rather than sharing it with the away team.
2. The creation of the Premiership, cutting off all but the top 22 teams from the lucrative TV deal.
3. The creation of the Champions League ensuring that the top 4 teams would have an unassailable financial advantage over the rest of the league and would be able to consolidate their position at the top.
4. The hijacking of an initially well-meaning FFP regulation, so that it's not just a financial reality that only be big clubs can buy the best players and managers, it's actually a rule.

Liverpool have been at the forefront of every one of those changes, whereas we've been lucky to find another way of competing in the rigged system that you and the rest of the cartel have created.

Don't forget the dippers owner has been applying pressure on all the different bodies to investigate us,they have tried on the pitch cheating and of the pitch hacking us etc,Kahldoon was talking about them with his if there is something said we know about it
He is a very rich owner as well with lots of power in the US,why is he bothered about us

Money, Karen. The aim for American sports organisations is to make money for their owners. Despite what Woodentop says, if you don't win stuff, eventually sponsorship reduces. Dippers owners fear we will dominate because our owners will put winning before profit. A long term plan to discredit 'filthy oil clubs'.

I think they are terrified of us as we are such a well run club and we are dominating over here whilst regenerating the area,there must be a grudging respect for what our owner has brought to manchester,it suits the narrative to ignore the fact that our owner has many businesses that he gets his money from,not just oil

I think there’s a big difference between Internet fans and real life fans. I know plenty of lads who support Everton, United & City and hardly any of them are like their online counterparts. The problem with online discussion is there isn’t the face to face aspect which can be important when putting a point across. I can tell you right now though that RAWK are nothing, nothing at all, like fans who are actually from the area. Sad little try hard ****s trying their best to fit in.

Our club is largely debt free. Our owners don’t take a penny out of the club, there’s plenty of transparent data on it. They make their money out of Liverpool FC by leveraging their value against buying another asset for the Fenway portfolio. Same as the guy who runs a property one. Buy a house, do it up and make it look shiny. Use the value of that to buy somewhere else. The problem we have is that all the extra equity that the club is worth doesn’t get seen by them, it’s FSG’s. All the money that comes in and out of the club though stays in there. We have to give them that to be fair.

Funny enough we are not allowed to spend Sheik Mansours money due to so called financial fair play rules, so spend sponsorship and prize money.

It’s nothing to do with arrogance, mate. I’ve been getting called out and I’ve said that it’s not the place to discuss things. To be fair, I should have just sent it as a private message to keep it off here and to hopefully put an end to it. And read my posts, I actually have a lot of admiration for the way you do things. Just because I support another team doesn’t mean I can’t respect what another’s doing. And I’ve been pretty clear about RAWK, they’re in no way representative of our real life fans in the same way this doesn’t necessarily represent yours. I go on a forum much more representative of our local fan base.

That’s exactly what we do. The difference between us and you is that you run your club like we used to - the pursuit of sporting excellence by retaining your best players as long as you can and not looking to offload them to cash in. We do the opposite. It’s frustrating as fuck but that’s how it is.

Personally, up until this season, I’ve missed about three games a year for a very long time. The vast majority in here go to games. You’ll notice we don’t have a match thread that contains posts from just the mods, like RAWK, in fact there was a time when the mods would all be at the game together.

That says a lot about the forum then and only in a positive way. Those who go the game regularly are more in tune with the general mood of things. I can only draw on my own experiences with your lot which goes back over 25 years and I’ve always found them to be sound. Even with our rivalry with United, I know a few of theirs who go everywhere with them and they’re good lads. Every club has their whoppers though - us and United lead the way in that area.
